Off Grid Cabin in the Woods

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! One room, hand scribed cabin with wood stove, perfect for those searching for an off grid experience. Nestled in the woods of Maine, this cabin boasts a long, private driveway, opening up to a secluded, clear lot offering ample amounts of peace and quiet. Full size bed and couch allow 3 to sleep comfortably. No running water or electricity. Outhouse on site. Immerse yourself in nature in this comfortable but primative cabin! The space Our property is nestled in the North Woods of Maine. The cabin is surrounded by lush, thick woods and guests should expect to see bugs, snakes and other wildlife while staying at our cabin. If you stay with us during the summer months, the cabin will be warm. We provide two small battery operated fans to keep you comfortable and also bug spray and tiki torches to help keep the bugs at bay. There is a raised deck, fire pit and front porch for you to relax on and take in the sights and sounds of nature. There are folding chairs and two gliding rockers for you to use during your stay. There is a two burner gas stove and some pots, pans, tea kettle and other things to use while you are there. Flashlights, candles and other items provided as well. Our cabin is geared for experienced campers, people with some off-grid experience and those who can practice proper safety protocols associated with being deep in the woods. This cabin is primitive and essentially covered camping you will be warm and dry, but you must be comfortable dealing with forest critters, insects and the unpredictability of Mother Nature. Guest access Entire cabin and 5 acre property all to yourself to enjoy and explore! Other things to note Cell service available but some networks are spotty while visiting our cabin. Make sure to message us with a time of arrival before you arrive so we can give you detailed directions. YOUR GPS WILL NOT BRING YOU DIRECTLY TO OUR CABIN.
