Whether you’re attending a wedding, celebrating an occasion, or unwinding before your next flight, this is the ideal retreat to rest & recharge The space Our cosy lodge offers all the comforts of home and is perfectly suited for up to two adults — your own private retreat awaits. The well‑equipped kitchenette includes everything you need for a comfortable stay: a fridge, toaster, electric frying pan, air fryer, portable two‑ring hot plate, Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee pod machine with milk frother, kettle, sandwich press, and microwave. Conveniently located near the Kumeu Showgrounds, our lodge is ideal for guests attending local weddings, family events, or special occasions in the area. Just a 40 km drive from Auckland Airport, the lodge is also a perfect place to relax and unwind before your onward flight. Guest access You’re very welcome to wander around our two‑hectare property. Luna, our friendly Golden Retriever, will often accompany you as your guide! Parking is available anywhere near the lodge. Please just keep the shed doorway clear for our use — there is a No Parking sign on the door. A washing machine is available for guest use, in the shed opposite the lodge. Washing pods and fabric conditioner are provided, with a clothes rack, and also an outside clothes line between the lodge and shed. Other things to note Water & Wastewater Information Our water supply is a combination of bore and rainwater. All tap water is treated through a filtration system and UV light to ensure it is safe for use. The property uses a septic tank for wastewater. Please flush toilet paper only—no wipes, sanitary products, or other items.
