Welcome to Cabin #4 on Stony Point Peninsula, right by Big Bay de Noc. Enjoy 500 ft. of sandy beach just steps away. This fully furnished modern cabin features a kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, and full bath for your comfort. You will let yourselves in and out. The house is yours during your stay, enjoy and relax. Other things to note FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Air Conditioning: There is no AC in this cabin. There are 3 ceiling fans throughout the house (one in each bedroom and one in living room) and 1 box fan to place where you would like. ATV's: Not allowed on property Animals: Squirrels, Turkey, Raccoon, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Sandhill cranes and Deer Bathroom: Full Bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. Beach/Swimming: Swim right on the property. There is a nice sandy beach and Big Bay de Noc is known for its sandy bottom. It is perfect for swimming. 500 ft of Sandy beachfront to enjoy Bedroom Configuration: Bedroom #1: Queen Bed Bedroom #2: Queen Bed plus one twin bed Boats: No boats are provided at this home. However, there is enough parking if you were to bring your own boat and launch it at the nearby marina. Bugs: Typical UP Michigan bugs Cell phone service: AT&T and Verizon work well but Cell phone can be spotty at times. Enjoy disconnecting from the stress of the world! Coffee Maker: Yes, 12 cup drip, filters and coffee provided Distances: * Pictured Rocks: 1 hour ( 47 miles) * Marquette: 1 hour and 20 minutes ( 71 miles) * Tahquamenon Falls State Park: 1 hour 46 minutes (87 miles) * Mackinac Bridge: 2 hours away (116 miles) Drinking Water: Well water, it is drinkable but you may want to bring bottled water as well. Dock: Not on site Fire-pit: YES! Wood is onsite Fishing: The Nahma DNR boat launch is just a quarter mile up the road, where you could fish off the dock. Perch, Smallmouth Bass are commonly caught. There is a fish cleaning station next to cabin. Fishing License: You can purchase your fishing license online. Fishing poles: Please bring your own Grill: Charcoal. Please bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Grocery Store: Garden Convenience Store and meat market is just 15 minutes away. Dollar General is nearby as well. Internet/WIFI: Yes. Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels. Parking: Two cars are able to park right next to the cabin. It could also host a truck/trailer combo. Pets: One dog under 30 lbs. is allowed onsite. Sorry bigger pet owners, there are 5 cabins and we don’t want to spook the pups! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $50/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we’ll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed. Privacy: There are 4 other cabins nearby. Seniors: Welcome, 3 steps in plus additional step once in screened in porch and approximately 75 yds to beach Snowmobiles: None allowed on property Space: Log Cabin TV: Living room 35" with Roku stick. Towels: Yes, we provide towels. It's always good to bring extra though. Washer and dryer: There is not one onsite. The nearest Laundry mat is in Manistique. Wood: Is not provided
