The living room, dining nook, and kitchen on the first floor are compact in this historic home, but perfect for two guests. The dining table doubles as workspace. High speed wifi is available. The home is centrally located… park your car and walk everywhere! The immediate neighborhood is residential and relatively quiet. The bedroom faces the street, so expect some city and car noise since the home is located in the historic district of downtown Frederick. A sound machine is available for light sleepers. Guest access The Emerald Isle Home is my personal residence and a few cabinets in the kitchen and doors on the second floor will be locked. I love to travel and explore, and I am happy to share my space with you along your journey! Other things to note The fire alarms are VERY sensitive... Please be mindful if cooking at home! The stairs may be narrow and steep for some guests, and the space is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. The home is a duplex with neighbors directly to the side and to the rear. Street parking is FREE and plentiful on the block, but street cleaning takes place twice per week, so please be sure to move your car to the opposite side of the street earlier in the day to avoid a ticket.
