Relax beside your fire ring or dine in the outdoor kitchen/ patio area. You can have an unlimited hot water shower in our skylight roof bath house that also features a full flush toilet. This unit does have an air conditioner putting the Glam in glamping! Close to Lost Sea, TN waterfalls & Sweetwater TN The space Donkey Ridge is a truly unique place that captures the essence of rural Tennessee that so many people are moving here to experience. Our 38 acre farm is home to open meadows and old growth forests and of course our world famous Donkey herd and Angelia Silvera "The Donkey Listener". Angelia is an internationally recognized and published Donkey Trainer and advocate for this misunderstood species. For a small additional charge, you can do a "Meet and Greet" with the donkeys or even schedule a guided hike or just watch them as they graze just across a pasture fence. Relax and enjoy our farm or use it as a base camp for the many attractions from waterfalls to restaurants to beer gardens within an hour of your micro cabin. Come share a lifestyle lost to so many but here for you to enjoy. Pet friendly with two off-leash play areas for your dog. But don't worry you won't have to "rough it" with unlimited hot water showers and a full flush toilet in our skylight bath house. Both the bath house and the outdoor kithen are common areas shared with only one other unit(2 people)Make memories here at Donkey Ridge ! Your micro cabin is in an area that is easily accessible but private and secluded. No four-wheel drives required or mountain roads to cause you stress. And you are minutes away from grocery stores and shopping. Located in a decade-old native grape vineyard, with an emerging fruit orchard around your unit, you can relax or hike as you wish on our marked trails. Your common areas include an outdoor kitchen in a shaded grove and a clean modern bathhouse with flush toilet and endless hot water. These common areas service two units total. The skylight roofs of our kitchen and bathouse give you outdoor feel with indoor protection from a passing shower. Your cabin and common areas have full power.Our marked trails give you access to over 80% of our 38 acre farm. Welcome to our world we look forward to sharing it with you. Other things to note The Donkey Ridge Experience is a dog friendly environment. We do however limit it to no more than 2 dogs per unit and the total weight of your pets should be under 35 lbs(1 35 lb dog or two that weigh 35lbs total). We have two "leash " free areas that are included at no charge for you and your pet. However, in all common areas and on our trails we respectfully request that pets be leashed on a fixed-style leash. This is for the safety of your pets so that they are not accidentally involved in dangerous interactions with other pets, wildlife or members of our Donkey herd. And of course, we ask that you always "pick up" after your pets and leave our beautiful ecosystem as you found it.
