Take a break and unwind at this lakefront oasis ideal for families & small groups. An entirely separated private level of our home is yours to enjoy and we are very chilled hosts. Wake up and savor the view from the master bedroom, then step outside and enjoy coffee by the lake in one of our many seating areas. Take out our lake toys, or curl up with a book on one of our many loungers. End the day with dinner on the patio, watch the sunset from the deck, and take a wonderful dip in the hot tub. The space The home is three levels tall and you’ll stay in our modern daylight basement (fully refurbished in 2019), a self-contained level with its own entrance via an electronic keypad. We live upstairs, but it’s just me, my husband, and small dogs. The space can fit 6 comfortably, though it can sleep more if people don’t mind sharing the couch beds, plus we have blow up air beds - please let us know if you would like to bring more than 6 guests, there is an additional charge of $30 per person per night for this. The master bedroom in the basement is actually the best bedroom in the house, it’s a light filled room that overlooks the lake through a giant picture window, and you can head outside through the sliding glass door. There’s a king bed and twin loveseat that pulls out into a twin bed. There is space to hang your clothes in a dedicated section of the wardrobe, and a pretty desk you can work from. A second smaller bedroom is adjacent and is set up with two twin beds, though one of the beds actually extends to a king so you could turn the entire room into a giant bed! We also have two pack n plays available, plus a trundle bed, if you are bringing very small children. The living room is large and open, with both couches turning into beds, one full size and one queen. An additional single trundle bed can also be set up in this room if you have a larger party or people don’t want to share the couch beds! There’s a very large tv to take in a movie, an electric fireplace, board games galore and plenty of books. There’s also a desk for you to work from, while overlooking the lake. The wifi even works on the dock if you want an ‘office with a view!’ We have a kitchenette for cooking basic meals, plus a table for 4 - which actually fits 6 at a squeeze (we have extra chairs). However in the summer we recommend dining outside and enjoying the view. The kitchenette has a medium size fridge freezer & small oven (it’s similar to a toaster oven but larger and can convection bake), plug in dual electric stove for boiling pasta / frying eggs / making stir frys, etc, Air Fryer, Keurig, microwave and popcorn maker. Cooking instruments, silverware, plates, etc, are available. And if there’s anything you need to borrow, just ask! There is no sink, however we leave a container for you to put your used items in and we take care of the dishes for you! Yes, that’s correct, you won’t need to do dishes while you’re here! The bathroom has both a tub and a shower, with plenty of towels available for you to use. We also provide additional towels for you to use if swimming in the lake or using the hot tub. Toiletries are available, plus hair styling tools. Outside there are two docks to relax on, plus an upper patio. There’s a hot tub, lake toys, various loungers, seating and more, plus a BBQ and, if you are feeling adventurous, a wood fired pizza oven is available upon request. Note that the backyard docks and hot tub, lake toys, bbq, etc, are a communal area, though we are not out there much - but with two docks and a patio there’s plenty of room for everyone. Should you want to talk to us we are very friendly, but we are also happy to leave you be! For those guests with pets the yard is fenced on all sides except the lake. If your dog is an escape artist and tall enough you’d be want to make sure you’re out there with them, but we haven’t had any great escapes so far! In the winter months you might want to consider a day trip to the slopes - we are just under an hour to Snoqualmie ski resort and 90 minutes to Steven’s Pass. Guest access The entire floor is yours to use undisturbed, with access to the lake, hot tub (shared access) and more. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living space with two couches that fold out into a double and queen size bed, and a well equipped kitchenette. If you have a large party with major cooking plans and would like to arrange to use our larger kitchen upstairs for prepping, we are happy to coordinate with you on this. There’s also a fantastic BBQ outside. Outside there are two docks and a patio area. So when we are outside enjoying the lake too, we are out of your way as there is so much space. We have the biggest dock on the lake and have had groups of 10+ relaxing out there. If you like to chat, we are friendly, and if you prefer your privacy, we stay well out of the way. If you want to take a walk outside of the property, it’s about a 40 minute loop around the lake. There is also a private community beach and kids park close by - walk there in 10 minutes or drive there in 2!
