Mississippi waterfront getaway-Dogs Welcome!

Welcome to our fully sustainable non-toxic waterfront home on the great Mississippi River! Bring the whole family, including your dogs. We welcome well supervised children (strict due to the proximity of the water) and we welcome dogs of all sizes. We have converted this house to a self-sustaining home with solar panels and a heat pump. All linens and towels are organic and all cleaning products are safe and non-toxic. We provide biodegradable/cruelty-free bath products for guest use. The space Guests can enjoy the option of two separate bedrooms on the second floor. Each room has a queen sized bed and an attached full bathroom with a shower each. The main floor bedroom has a king bed with a large full bathroom directly across the hall. There is a large living room and dining room, as well as a comfortable sunroom to enjoy watching the passing boats and barges. For the early birds: the sunrises are spectacular here and are well worth an early morning to enjoy the sight from the sunroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed to cook up a lovely meal. Basic cooking oils, seasonings, coffee, tea, sugar and flour are always stocked for guest use. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire house, the front patio and riverfront yard. There is also access to the fully contained and secure aluminum fenced “dog yard” between the house and the garage for letting your dogs out to potty. The detached garage is not available for guest use but there is room for 3 average sized vehicles on the driveway and there is more parking behind the cul-de-sac for extra vehicles as well. Instructions will be provided when needed. There is also a boat dock that goes into the water from mid-May until early October that is for guest use. You are welcome to bring your watercraft, kayaks, canoes, SUP’s, etc. Other things to note We hope that guests can enjoy the peacefulness of this area. Please understand that this community is mostly owner-occupied homes of working or retired couples. We ask that the neighbors’ privacy is respected and that noise levels are kept to a minimum. Please adhere to a 10PM quiet time outside of the house. If you would like to party, nearby La Crosse has a vibrant pub scene with dozens of establishments to have fun at but loud parties or unauthorized guests (other than short visits) are a no-go at the Airbnb. I am open to any reasonable requests for extra guests, couples or small guest number rates, checkins and late checkouts. Just ask! I like to be accommodating to guests various needs when it can work out.
