Holiday paradise on Hvaler/Vesterøy

On beautiful, quiet and undisturbed Svaberg you and your family can enjoy late vacation days. Amazing panoramic views, with the sun setting in the sea right in front of the cabin - spectacular sunsets!! Svaberg is just below the cabin, with a bathing staircase and a small jetty if you come with your own boat. There is a buoy where it is possible to anchor with larger boats/sailboats. Outdoor toilet and outdoor shower and drinking water in the cabin. No road all the way up - 900m on gravel road. Rental only to adults or families with children. The space The cabin is located in a remote location, but in an established cabin area with cozy and quiet cabin neighbors. The cabin consists of 2 1/2 bedrooms, a room with washing machine and various storage, living room with open kitchen solution. Terrace on the back where there is morning sun and a front yard with sun until sunset. Municipal water is installed in the cabin, and can be drained from the spring indoors, as well as for use in the dishwasher. However, there is no bathroom - but a charming outdoor shower with hot water. Outdoor toilet in a separate building just below the cabin. It is not possible to drive all the way to the cabin, but we have a parking space at Nordenga. Also access to several places if they are available. Charming walk of about 900 m on a gravel path through the forest. Access to wheelbarrows. Fantastic opportunities for an active vacation. We have two sea kayaks and a paddle board that you can use. In addition to swimming and kayaking, there are also great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. A short drive away you are also in the nature reserve Kuvauen with its great trails and nature. There are also short drives to the other islands in the Hvaler archipelago, with access to restaurants, cafes and galleries. We rent to quiet families/adult couples. Noise and events are not possible. The cabin is old and was built in the 1930s. No modern cottage but is normally maintained, with some wear and tear here and there. Although it is not very large, it contains everything you need to enjoy wonderful days on beautiful Hvaler. Amenities: - terraces both in front and back with furniture. In addition, a covered terrace where it is possible to lie and watch the sunset if desired. - New kitchen from 2020, with sink, stove, hobs, fridge with freezer, kitchen utensils and tableware. - Living room and kitchen in one. In addition to a dining table, there is also a sofa with room for three. Fireplace. - Two bedrooms. One room with double bed and a single bed in a small part of the room. The other room has two single beds. In addition, it is possible to remove the back of the sofa and sleep in it. - Power, new fuse box in 2024, fire alarms, hot water, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, waffle iron, hair dryer. - Dining table outdoors with space for 10 people. - Sun loungers, pillows, mattresses, etc. - various games such as cards, monopoly, etc. Own boat If you want to bring your own boat that is transported on a trailer, it must be launched from a marina or similar nearby. No smoking indoors. The surrounding area: 2-3 km away you have a good selection of grocery stores (Coop, Kiwi and Rema), pharmacy, fish shop with very good selection, flower shop, café, gas station, Thai takeaway, etc. Clean up before leaving: Cleaning is done by the tenant. The cabin should be left as it was on arrival. Garbage, bottles, etc. must be taken away and can be disposed of in the container by the parking lot. If for various reasons it is not possible to carry out the cleaning, it costs NOK 2,000. We use the cabin on and off so the calendar is not updated. But get in touch and we'll see what fits. Check-in by appointment, usually around 4 pm - Check-out around 12 pm or by appointment with the landlord. Can be flexible on check-in/check-out if it fits in with other users of the cabin.
