Our home is perfect for the family who wants a quiet and cozy base during the holidays. Here you have nature as well as the opportunity for a wide range of activities right outside the door. In addition, the surrounding area offers a sea of opportunities, so you can knit together the vacation that appeals to you. Legoland and Lalandia are only 20 minutes away, but you can also take the trip to Jelling to experience the old Viking town or shop in Vejle. Here, the driving distance is 3 and 11 km, respectively. The space Discover true farmhouse idyll This is an older country house with a large enclosed garden located on a large natural plot. The living room is nice and well maintained, and the garden as well as the surrounding natural area offer many good moments for the whole family. You are also welcome to bring your dog if it does not destroy furniture and other things. When visiting our country house, don't expect everything to be clinically clean, as we ourselves have dogs and two small children. We are also a family that spends a lot of time outside, and the dogs and our children run in and out. The house is of course nice and clean, but if you expect every corner to be clinically clean, our home might not be for you. The living room consists of two floors, where the ground floor houses a utility room with washing machine and dryer, bathroom, modern kitchen, large dining and TV room, entrance and a playroom for the little ones. Via the stairs in the entrance you are led to the first floor, which consists of two good bedrooms with an associated toilet with bath. Between the two rooms is a large bedroom (passage room). Here you can watch a good movie from bed, read a book or enjoy the view of the grounds to the sound of the birds chirping. The kitchen contains everything you need to cook good food, and the dishwasher, fridge and freezer are at your fingertips. In addition, there is plenty of room for a cozy dinner for the whole family in the living room. If the weather invites you to barbecue and garden, you can move out onto the terrace. Here you will find an older charcoal grill and a garden table with space for 10-12 people. However, you also have the opportunity to cook the food by the fireplace in the garden, where there is both a fire pit and a grill. In the garden itself, there are play towers with swings and slides, sensory swings, hammock, trampoline, sandbox and plenty of space for various activities. In the garage there are a number of garden games that you are welcome to use. In addition, you can harvest some vegetables or fruit in the kitchen garden and by the fruit trees. No insecticides, pesticides or fertilizers are used in and around our garden, as we would like to give the natural processes as much free play as possible. Therefore, there are always many exciting and beautiful plants, insects, birds and mammals to look at in and around our garden. Outside the hedge you will find the “wild” garden, where you have the opportunity to explore. You can follow the small paths or take a detour into the wilderness. If you want to sail a trip on the small lake with the timber raft, you are very welcome to do so. However, be aware that the lake is almost two meters deep in some places. Therefore, there should always be an adult on the raft. You can also enjoy your food at the table bench set by the lake or spend the night in a tent - maybe the deer, fox, badger or hare will come by. The city still bears the mark of its heyday, when it was the seat of the Danish kings Gorm the Old and Harald Blåtand. Several breathtaking natural areas also border Jelling, and if you want to burn some energy, there is a sports hall, gym, outdoor sports facilities and outdoor swimming pool in the city. Should the need arise, there is a pharmacy as well as a car mechanic in town. Not far from Jelling you will find Fårup Lake, where at the eastern end of the lake there is a kiosk as well as a Put & Take. At the kiosk you can rent rowing boats and water bikes if you want to take a trip out on the beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful nature. Billund area: If you like fun, there are both Lalandia and Legoland at the airport city of Billund. In just 20 minutes you are in the city with many fun options for children and adults. Legoland is a great amusement park for both children and adults, where you can easily spend a whole day. Lalandia has a wide range of activities as well as a huge water park for water lovers of all ages. Vejle area: If you want to shop, go to a café or go to the movies, there is plenty of opportunity for just that in Vejle. After a short drive, you are in the center of the city, which includes a 900-meter-long pedestrian street, a shopping center, several large department stores and many cozy restaurants.
