A spacious barn situated close to coast on the stunning Lizard Peninsula. 3.2 acres of gardens, meadow and newly planted woodland to explore . Guests from Europe are always warmly welcomed here and we have hosted many families from Germany, France , Netherlands, Italy and Austria . The space The barn is located in the grounds of a grade 2 listed farm house dating back to the 16th century. The 19th century barn, built out of local stone and cob, offers spacious accommodation for 3 people. Ideal for a family with one child. Garden and grounds The exotic gardens feature plants such as bananas, hydrangeas, echiums , palms and many other plants giving a sub tropical feel to the grounds. The land features newly planted woodland, a meadow and beautiful views of the sea and the lighthouse at St Mawes. Walk the paths cut through the meadow and enjoy nature! The Accommodation The Barn has one large open plan dining, kitchen and living area with vaulted ceiling. It also has a dedicated work space and wood burning stove. The kitchen has an oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob and cooker The living area has a corner sofa, coffee table and smart TV. The bathroom features a vaulted ceiling with shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. The main bedroom has a handmade shaker furniture made in oak including a King size bed, beside cabinets, shaker draws/ cupboard, mirror and peg rail. This bedroom is open to the upstairs landing. From here a door leads off to a single bedroom and therefore the property is ideally suited for a family with one child. Outside Immediately outside the barn is sheltered courtyard garden with table and chairs and lush garden borders. Local shops and pubs can be found less than a mile away in St Keverne. Go through the back garden gate and take the footpath across fields and through woodland to the village, 0.8 miles away. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the barn and grounds. Other things to note The front entrance door is low. Please mind your head.
