Location Highlights: - Water access 1/2 block away - 3-4 blocks to East Bay beach - 1-2 miles to downtown, restaurants, breweries, the State Park beach, and shopping - 10-minute drive to VASA Trail (great for hiking, biking, and skiing) - Centrally located to Old Mission Peninsula, Leelanau Peninsula, and more Cabin Comforts: This is our home—not a luxury rental—but it’s cozy, welcoming, and well-equipped: - Fully stocked kitchen with dishes and cookware - Books and board games for all ages - Baby & toddler friendly: pack and play, high chair, toys, and books - Wireless internet and off-street parking included - Window AC units to keep things cool in summer - Kayak and SUP may be available upon request Important Notes: No central air, but window units keep the space comfortable even on hot days This is a strictly non-smoking property due to neighbors with allergies. If you’re a smoker, please be aware you’ll need to leave the block entirely to light up. Pets are welcome as long as you can follow our pet rules: Keep them off furniture, clean up after them, and don't leave them home alone unless they are crated. A portion of the house is reserved for host use, but we won't interfere with your enjoyment of where you stay. There is only a small TV with access to your streaming services via an Amazon Firestick. Guest access You will have use of the kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom, as well as the front porch (view of the bay!) and backyard. The host is on-site in a living area located on the back side of the house. Please note all outdoor use must be quiet and respectful of the residential neighborhood. You are welcome to use the hot tub if you agree to house rules and extra cleaning fee if you damage it. Other things to note Arrival and leaving times are generally flexible with advance notice. Please inquire if you need flexibility. We don't have cable. The TV provided is small and you can connect to streaming services via Amazon Fire Stick. Please note we ask guests to provide their own firewood.
