Vintage Airstream Glamping Hot Shower Under Stars

Welcome to Tabla Raza, a tranquil, shaded glamping spot ideal for locals and travelers alike. Nestled in a tree-lined cove between a 15-acre farm and a small meadow, this serene location is often visited by deer in the early morning. Just a short drive from downtown Austin, it's the perfect retreat for friends to relax, play games, grill, and enjoy a cozy fire together. We're 4/20 friendly and welcome all well-behaved pets! 20 min drive to Circuit of the Americas 20 min drive to Zilker Park The space Tabla Raza is a restored 1976 Airstream snuggled privately away for friends to share some uninterrupted special time. As you enter the property, you'll notice a historic stone well on your left, originally built by Brigadier-General Ben McCullough of the Texas Revolution, and fed by a natural aquifer. We offer a custom fire pit that doubles as a grill, perfect for cooking steaks and veggies for your gathering. Each stay includes a generous bundle of firewood, ready to be prepared upon request. We have a projector that can be used indoors or outdoors. During peak summer months we keep the projector inside the Airstream for convenience and comfort. We provide a laptop and fast internet to stream your favorite shows and movies! Please note additional Glamping considerations: 2nd bed is a fold out sofa and best for a smaller person. *Bathroom consists of an upscaled outhouse with a Scandinavian composting toilet and an outside hot/cold shower. It’s less than 100 feet from the Airstream. Finally, there are three well-behaved dogs that protect the fowl from predators. Lucille, Buddy and Genevieve. They play well with other dogs. We have ducks roaming our property. To keep them safe and contained, we keep the front gate closed at all times. **Additional Information:** **Spa** The hot spa is an added amenity of $25. Please let us know in advance. SAUNA & COLD PLUNGE COMING SOON! **Circuit of the Americas** Just 11 miles away via scenic country roads, you can easily attend events without entering Austin. A toll road from the airport will take you directly to the cabin and the event, bypassing city traffic. **Major Events** For SXSW and other events, retreat to your quiet oasis just 15 minutes south of Central Austin. Enjoy a cozy fire and some relaxation away from the crowds. **ACL Festivals** The center of town is about 20 minutes away. Drop-off spots for public buses to ACL are just 15 minutes from the cabin, minimizing parking hassles. Return to your Airstream to relax by the fire after the festival. Guest access Reservation grants access to parking, the serene meadow, the charming Airstream with its adjacent yard. This airstream is recessed in the back side of the property about 100 feet from parking. Swim spa with hot tub can be reserved at $30 per stay. There are 3 fire pits for your use when burn ban is not in effect. Within this large property there are 2 airstreams and 1 cabin. Each venue normally hosts 2 guests. It is possible to reserve all 3 to have friends stay together. Other things to note There are 2 other venues on this property. They each have their own disticnt yard separated in different corners with follage for privacy. One airstream has its own fence. Each venue is for 2 guests only. It is possble for a group of friends/family to rent all 3 venues to share. This trailer has an outside bathroom and shower. Please see pictures and description. Please also note the unique kitchen arrangement: Inside under a counter, are pots/pans/ airfryer/hotplate/rice cooker as well as utinsles. cooking utinsles/glasses and plates/refrigerator and spices. Outside is a grill and barbque plus an outside kitchen counter with sink. Please refer to pictures to see the arrangment. There is up to 2 spots saved for your cars. When you park at the designated spot, you will need to walk about 100 feet to get to the airstream. The hottub/swim spa is primarily used for the cabin however other guests (from both airstreams) can reserve its use with the maintainance fee of 30$ per airstream reservation. As of May 2nd, the spa will no longer be heated due to Texas summer heat. Let us know if you are interested in using the spa. Guests must be oriented before use.
