Camper/RV in Howey-in-the-Hills

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Beautiful views of the lake, stunning sunsets and you will be welcomed by sweet farm animals fenced into their homes. We are close to a lot of wonderful restaurants, parks, and championship fishing lakes feel free to bring your boat as there’s plenty of parking on site to park and charge your boat. UPGRADED MASTER BEDROOM MATTRESS ON APRIL 2025!! NEW MEMORY FOAM ON BOTH BUNKS INSTALL FEBRUARY 2026! The space Secluded area on a very private rural property. Very comfortable and quaint. Owners are located on property however you will still have your own private location.. when you arrive at the property drive all the way into the property towards the back you will pass a black garage pass through the open gates and you will see the unit to your right. WE DO HAVE 3 DOGS ( 1 GERMAN SHEPHARD AND 2 CHIHUAHUA'S) THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY BUT GET EXCITED AROUND NEW PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS. IF YOU PLAN TO BRING YOUR PET PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LIST THIS IN YOUR BOOKING !!!!!!!! THERE IS A $25 PET FEE We try our best to keep our pets away from the RV area. This is also a water front farm property. There are horses, goats, sheep and chickens. We have proper signage indicating possible snakes and alligators near the pond. ( This is Florida..... You can never be to careful around water) AWNING: if you open the outside awning on the camper, we asked that you kindly close it if the winds start to pick up or if you leave the unit for the day, we do get high winds here and I’m afraid it will break if it’s not closed when needed. LIGHTS: In the ceiling you will see small round clear pucks. These are your lights. Press the button in the middle of each puck to turn on and off. TEMPERATURE: The electric fireplace in the unit isn't working however there is a furnace. The thermostat for the heat furnace is on the wall near the bathroom. There is also a space heater that works amazing. The air conditioner is overhead in the ceiling for your AC. TURN KNOBS SLOWLY TO AVOID TRIPPING BREAKER!!! There's an on/off switch with a speed and then the knob next to it is how you control the temperature so if it gets too cold in there, you can just turn the thermostat down or off. IF THE AC UNIT SHUTS OFF, CHECK THE BREAKER. THE BOX IS LOCATED UNDER THE FRIDGE! There are extra blankets under the master bed. Please turn off all heaters, fans and AC when not in the unit. IF YOU LOSE POWER IN THE UNIT PLEASE CHECK THE POWER CORD ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE CAMPER. IT MAY HAVE COME LOOSE. This normally does not happen but it’s always a possibility. FRIDGE: to open the fridge place both thumbs on the top and bottom of handle push in and gently pull out. There is a safety catch if you force it, it will break. KITCHEN STOVE To light the oven push in oven knob and turn. Hold in the knob while turning the ignite knob located to the left of all the oven controls BATHROOM Please dry all floor areas after showers or when any water spills. Water damage happens very easily in these units. SHOWER When you shower we suggest turn on the water just to get wet. Turn it off to soap up and then turn it back on to rinse off. It is a camper and it has a very small hot water heater. We don’t want you running out of hot water :) TRASH Please take all trash to the trash bins located at the main entrance upon checkout Other things to note UPGRADED MASTER BEDROOM MATTRESS ON APRIL 2025!! Plenty of parking for your vehicle and boat if need be. We provide detailed instructions. If you are unsure of how to use something please ask.
