And, after a day of free range fun, a little sanctuary of wellness awaits back home… Alongside your top-notch sleeping/living ‘quarters’, you have a separate (and rather swanky) privy, and a state-of-the-art Infrared sauna at-the-ready… there’s no such thing as roughing it here! Inside the gorgeous main cabin, Whistlestop certainly pulls out all the stops to make your stay feel a little luxe; Known as the Rolls Royce of shepherds huts, the high-spec workmanship, log burner, and nifty design details throughout adds to the experience of utter New Forest escapism. As night falls, you can toast marshmallows by the fire pit before getting toasty undercover, and hunkering down for the night. Do contact us directly for best rates and availability a year in advance ** INSIDE Sitting pretty amongst its own private garden plot, we love how Whislestop’s main hut exemplifies small, but perfectly formed! After a night under the stars, get toasty by the log burner with a mug of something, or sink into bed with a good book (there’s also the TV if you are in the middle of a Netflix-a-thon). We particularly love how the built-in double bed here creates a charming little nook. With creature comforts close-to-hand, a morning started here would feel rather special. Sleep with the windows and door opened and fall asleep to the purr of the trains & calls of nature. Glamping just got an upgrade... The separate 'privy' is only 5 steps away, and this private bathroom hut is all yours! A little more swish than most, the beautiful craftsmanship of this hut actually earnt it a place amongst a Chelsea Flower Show installation. Complete with shower, WC (and gorgeous Bramley products to-boot), we loved it just as much as the main hut! OUTSIDE Starting with the cherry on top, we love how the Infrared sauna is tucked away at the bottom of your plot. Easy to use, and great for a host of wellness benefits, this unexpected treat is the perfect remedy after a day of forest stomps. With the main shepherds hut on one side, and the privy on the other, your garden haven creates a lovely and private oasis of calm. Flow inside and out with ease to sit, sip and feast alfresco style. Guests have a parking space located right outside of your sanctuary, and as mentioned in our Home Truths section, your garden is located next to the B&Bs communal garden. *** Please do refer to our home truths section for more information ••• SLEEPING.. Double bed / Cotton bedding / Hair dryer / Bath robes & slippers. BATHROOMS.. Walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and wc. ALL THE REST... MOD CONS: Flat-Screen SMART TV / DAB Roberts Radio / Good WiFi connection. KITCHEN: Nespresso machine / Mini fridge / Kettle/ Two Plates / Two Bowls / Cutlery. If pre-agreed with your hosts in advance, you will be able to privately arrange a breakfast order (they will be catering for their own B&B guests and this order is a private arrangement that is separate to your New Forest Escapes booking). KIDS STUFF: Travel cot, high chair and children's crockery & cutlery are available PETS: 1 dog is welcome here - with a small charge per dog, per stay. Garden is fenced and enclosed but houdinis may escape. GARDEN: Garden dining table & chairs / Infrared Sauna / BBQ / Fire pit / Garden hose. PARKING: The shared driveway has room for 1 car. EV CHARGING: This property offers rapid electric vehicle charging from the carpark. At the time of booking, you will be required to select if you have an electric vehicle. A £35 surcharge is applicable for each EV car per booking. Please bring your own charging cables and inform us of your vehicle registration. HOME TRUTHS The Brockenhurst Railway line runs alongside Whistlestop’s garden, so you will hear the purr of the trains going to and from (they tend to start at 6am and stop at 11pm as a guide). We think this is a plus, especially as you will be able to walk from Brockenhurst Train Station to Whistlestop within just 10 minutes or so! Your lovely hosts are located on-site in their B&B. Whistlestop is at the back of the premises, but your private shepherds hut plot is next to the B&Bs communal garden. After you have booked, if you would like to order a locally-sourced and fresh brekkie as an extra to your stay (lucky you!), you will be able to liaise directly with Cheryl & Ciaran… we have it on good authority that their granola is a winner!  ACCESSIBILITY There is a step up to both the main hut, and the privy hut.
