Our spacious, mediterranean style home is located in a peaceful, pastoral neighborhood minutes away from world-class beaches, subtropical forests, a bioluminescent bay, and many lovely towns to explore and enjoy. 3 rooms are available to rent. The space The house, according to our children and their friends, is spectacular. It's on over an of property that we've worked hard to decorate with lots of lush flora. (39 palm trees at last count!) This listing is for a bedroom with private bath and air conditioner. Guest access In addition to everything mentioned above, there is an ample family room with 42" tv, a large living room for lounging and game playing (many Uno battles have taken place here!), and a fridge/large kitchen. And our dog Rocky is insisting that we let you know his fur is available for petting! During your stay We are a retired couple who've been living on the island for the past 8 years. We are happy to offer our knowledge to any of our guests if that is what you'd like, but we are just as happy to respect your privacy and leave you be. Guest preference. Other things to note Three things: 1. There is limited wifi available in our home. One of the downfalls of living in paradise. Bringing a hotspot is recommended. There is also a Burger King with free wifi a short (less than 5 minutes) drive away. 2. Also, the hot water in the showers does not get as hot as our american children and their guests are accustomed to. That isn't to say that the water is cold. It gets between warm and light-hot. This has never been a problem, but just wanted to let you know in advance. 3. We are a generally quiet, older, practicing christian couple and so our preference is to cater to families, married couples and the like. But give us a shot; we're happy to host without discrimination. And if you need some cooking or salsa-dancing tips, we've got you covered!
