This home of tranquility is located on the east of the island where the ocean is visible in front and mountains and hills in the rare. This area was known as "Windward" because of the continuous flow of fresh breeze coming straight off the Atlantic Ocean which would put you to sleep with it's rumbling charm. Enjoy the shaded surroundings with fruit trees such as mango, coconut, gooseberry, banana, papaya, pomegranate, guava and others. Ask the hosts about fruits from our garden. This 2.5 storey Sunrise Home is painted yellow with trims of white representing our Nevisian sunrise and sunset. Our first floor unit was built to cater to our guests' needs so it is spacious and uncluttered with full kitchen, living room, dining space, bedrooms (one with desk chair to allow working from home) and bathroom. Although we are on an island in the sun, our bedrooms have air conditioning to allow cool and peaceful rest on our tropical paradise. As this is your home away from home guests are free to utilize the inside and external spaces. Be as relaxed as possible. Please communicate your arrival info - port of entry and preferred time of check-in. You can check-in late but please let us know. Special Note: If you arrive in St. Kitts, please ask a taxi to take you to the ferry terminal where you would purchase a ticket to board the next boat to Nevis. A taxi can be taken to our home. We will give you the keys to your apartment. If requested, we can take you shopping for a small fee. Please let us know ahead of time. Our neighborhood is safe and generally quiet. Our village includes an ice cream parlour, bakery, church, restaurant, mechanic shops, and two grocery shops that sell general items for your kitchen. One can take walks early or late. Taxis and rentals (cars, scooters etc) are available for you to take a tour of Nevis. NOTE: Drive on the left side of the road. NOTABLES MUA is 2 minutes away. Local village shops and an icecream parlour are close by but mostly open at nights. A restaurant is also in this village. A church is 1 minute away. A bakery is 1 minute away. Hike to our Waterfalls begins 1 minute away (must be pre-arranged). The popular Esmie's Sunrise Superette and Snackette is 2 minutes away in Butlers. The Drag Race Strip is 3 minutes away. A car rental is 4 minutes away. The lovely Herbert's Beach is 4 minutes away. Compassionate Touch Spa is 5 minutes away. Pizza Runway is 5 minutes away next to the airport. Best Buy Supermarket is 6 minutes away. Water taxis are 7 minutes away at Oualie Beach or 18 minutes away in Charlestown our capital. Nevis Peak hikes begin 7 minutes away (must be pre-arranged) Horseback riding booking is 12 minutes away. Our natural healing hot Bath Springs are 20 minutes away. St. Kitts is 30 minutes by boat from Charlestown or 5 minutes from Oualie Beach. Triathlon location is 7 minutes away Drag racing is 3 minutes away (usually held on national holidays) Be yourself and be open to interact with the locals.
