Welcome to our home, Willow Tree Retreat (WTR)! We strive to make each stay comfortable and relaxing for a peaceful getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. Enjoy our modern amenities with a down-to-earth vibe that encourages you to 'unplug' and 'reconnect' with nature and one another. The space WTR is an updated modern ranch style house that is located just 10 minutes from Hershey, 25 mins from the Harrisburg Capitol building, 35 mins from Lititz and 45 mins from Lancaster. Nestled on a spacious corner lot in a quiet suburb, we offer everything you need inside on one floor! Our 3 bedrooms have the capacity to easily accommodate 9 guests(not including the sofa bed in the main living room that can sleep 2!). Each room is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy and inviting ambiance, ensuring a restful stay. We have an open floor plan that offers guests a comfortably furnished living room, dining room and sunroom. The kitchen space is complete with everything you need to cook including full sized appliances, dishes and flatware, Keurig coffee station, tea station, s'more station and many cooking/baking necessities. The back porch has been one of our favorite spots to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and watch the sunrise or an evening sunset. Take advantage of the propane grill and enjoy a cookout. Watch the birds and breath in the flowers and fresh air as you relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture. Be sure to check out the propane fire pit! The outside space is well maintained and offers many garden beds to enjoy seasonally. Take in the sights and smells of the flowers. Then stop by our mature fully organic fruit trees for apples, peaches and plums as they come into season. Grab a snack from one of our organic and pesticide free vegetable patches, or even treat yourself to fresh strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. (All of our beds are pesticide free! What will be available in the garden changes with each season, but there's typically a mix of veggies, greens, herbs and berries.) Visit our koi pond and relax to the soothing sound of the waterfall as you watch for fish and the occasional frog. Take a rest under the shade of the willow tree that we planted the year we moved in! Guest access The whole house and yard are available for your use, with the exception of the garage and the basement (which are for our cleaning and landscaping crews). The home has keyless entry, and you will be sent your own personal keycode 24 hours ahead of your check in time. Please no early arrivals, as your code is time sensitive and will only be active for the duration of your stay. We also do not allow late check out(unless set up ahead of time), because our wonderful cleaning crew uses all of the time between guests to really make the home shine✨️ Other things to note *Always turn off outdoor propane tanks after use! **No candles or indoor flames of any type. Absolutely NO smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. There is a $250 fine enforced for smoking inside of the home. ***Please DO NOT MOVE large furniture pieces! You risk injury to yourself as well as damage to our property. If you've dropped something behind a couch, be resourceful. (There is always that broom 😉). ****Only REGISTERED guests are allowed on the property(yes, this includes pets too). We are pet friendly, however, there is a fee for pets to stay at the home. Unregistered guests will also incur a fee and may lead to a cancelation of your booking. *****Pet waste stations are located on the property for your convenience. Please be sure to clean up after your pets to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay! Any EXCESSIVE fur left in the house will incur an extra cleaning charge! Our regular pet cleaning fee covers the normal amount of cleaning(supplies x time) expected in a short-term pet rental, and all of that fee goes right to the cleaning crew. Anything beyond that would be an additional hourly charge, depending on how long it takes to be cleaned(typically $40/hr). There is a broom available for your use if there are ever any spills, large messes, ect. that need to be immediately cleaned. If you have any questions or concerns about our pet cleaning fee, please contact us 😊 PLEASE NOTE: If damage occurs, please contact us immediately! We need a heads up to replace certain items and some things would even need to be ordered/ scheduled for repairs. The property and contents within are photographed/videoed prior to each reservation for insurance and safety purposes. There is a late checkout fee of $50-100/hr. Please be prompt, because our cleaning crew is scheduled for 10:15am. Thank you! 😊
