Beautiful Condo St. Lawrence Gap (4 beds sleeps 6)
Condo centrally located in area that has a local feel. A minute walk 2 Pristine Dover Beach. Short walk 2 shopping, great restaurants, ample nightlife & a mini mart next door. Rates vary depending on season. PLEASE NOTE ON APRIL 1, 2019, THE GOVERNMENT IMPOSED A 10% TAX ON ALL RENTAL PROPERTIES. Most rentals are furnished with wicker furniture as it is cheap to replace. We enjoy walking into the unit after a day at the beach and feeling like we are in a home. We have been fortunate with those we have rented to as they have maintained and appreciated what the unit offers. The unit, which is about 15 minutes from the airport, is 1600 square feet with three bedrooms and offers a partial view of the ocean. The unit sleeps 6 (2 queen beds and two twin beds), however, we can accommodate a 7th or 8th renter (ask for details). There is also a large, amazing balcony. The unit which is on the second floor, one level above the street, is located across the street from the beach. The Kitchen is modern and fully equipped. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Each unit has 1 assigned parking space in a gated lot in the back of the building. Note: there is a Smart TV in the unit but there isn't cable. We have found that most renters watch TV via a Netflix account or a fire stick. Please contact us for more information or if you have any questions. Guests will have access to all the unit has to offer. All linens, including beach towels, are provided. Each bedroom and the living area has air conditioning and ceiling fans. There is also a safe in the unit to secure your valuables. Maid service is also provided at no cost to renters. As owners, we are easily accessible and respond quickly to your questions/concerns. You will also have the phone number of our managing agent should you need to reach someone while on the island. Everything is within walking distance. The local Bajans are nice and the area has a real local feel. A must is going to Oistins on Friday evening for the fish fry. Oistins is about 15 minutes away and is the main fishing port of the island. On Friday evenings many locals and tourists head to Oistins for the fish fry. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. It's a carnival like atmosphere and you will truly get a feel for how the locals do things and really enjoy yourself in the process. Spending a day on a catamaran (brochures can be found in the unit) is a great excursion. You will snorkel around ship wrecks and swim with sea turtles. Lunch is provided as is an open bar. Taxis and public transportation is readily available. Renting a car is not really necessary as The Gap has so much to offer, all within walking distance. You can hire a local taxi driver to take you on a tour of the island. Most excursions you can go on will pick you up and drop you off at the condo free of charge.
