Located very near the entrance to the Chobe National Park in central Kasane, Chobe House is a combination of tranquil getaway spot, luxury safari lodge, and Airbnb villa. Your private safari lodge and gateway to the Chobe, we offer a variety of safari and camping packages to give you the experience of a lifetime. We are one of very few establishments placed directly on the Chobe River, with our own private jetty and private safari vehicles. See the Chobe by boat or by game viewer. The space Built for the discerning traveler who enjoys local immersion, private experiences, and luxury travel, Chobe House comes with the optional normal staff compliment of a luxury safari lodge. Our large open deck with private pool looks over the Chobe River where you'll often find hippos relaxing under the trees. The property is extremely spacious, with a double-height open gallery entrance and living space, flowing out to the outdoor living/entertaining area. You'll find no better place for enjoying sundowners in the light African dusk than on your private deck facing the sunset. The dining area is set outside on the patio, and is large enough to welcome large parties and events. The bedrooms are cavernous, air-conditioned and tastefully designed, with king-size beds underneath fixed mosquito net frames, providing the African version of a Parisian canopy bed. All the bedrooms face the river. Each bedroom has its own luxury en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower, ample handmade clothes hanging space, and one of the bedrooms has a freestanding bath. To the side of the deck you will also find the Potjie boma, a thatched structure with seating and a river-view where we encourage local cooking in cast iron pots.
