Enjoy peaceful valley views, sounds of rainforest birds, farm animals & the bubbling stream as you sip your morning cuppa. In the evening, unwind beside the fire. 1.5hr from Brisbane, 20min from the happy buzz of Gold Coast cafes, world class surf at Snapper Rocks & Duranbah, 25m to Murwillumbah, 45m to Brunswick Heads/Mullumbimby & 55m to Byron Bay! The space Our place is intended primarily as a simple, off grid, back to nature, outdoor experience whilst still providing a retreat with all the essential creature comforts at night. Guests will enjoy their own company in privacy and tranqullity, tucked away from neighbouring farms and the road. The entire place and surrounding natural environment is yours to enjoy in peace! There is no television and phone/internet reception is only available in some areas. The primary living space is outdoors, undercover on a generous verandah. There is an outdoor kitchen, including a BBQ, burner, preparation bench, storage hutch and utensils. Dining table and seating are here also. The toilet is accessed across the deck. You will find the fire pit and bench seating on the lawn in front of the verandah. The tiny home opens out onto the verandah. The indoor living space provides a comfortable queen bed, hot shower, bar refrigerator and deep sink. Guests may explore the wooded area and access the surrounding paddock at their own risk. Guest access Paddock, rainforest Other things to note For safety, please bring walking/hiking/work etc boots as the shack is accessed via a short walk from the parking area, approx 30 to 50 metres, down a gentle slope across the surrounding paddock. The surface is slightly undulating and can be rocky in spots here and there. Thongs, bare feet or slippers are best for the deck and inside areas. If you don't have any boots please let host know prior to your check in and you may borrow some. 1 bag of firewood is provided Guests are welcome to bring more if they wish. Cooking facilities are provided including 2 burner stove top, BBQ, cooking utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot, kettle, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, drinking and wine glasses. There are also some basic essentials such as cooking oil, salad dressing, tea, coffee, sugar, salt,pepper etc Registration Details Exempt
