Each house has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, living, and dining area. This home would also be ideal for a big family or 2 families traveling together. Enjoy the backyard deck with a large swimming pool, plenty of seating including Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and deck chairs. There’s a storage bin with beach chairs, pool and beach toys, floaties, etc. We also have kayaks and snorkeling gear. A short stroll will take you to crystal water. Located close to Exuma’s popular waterfront restaurant you can choose to dine out, or cook your meals in the full kitchen. It has all the comforts of home. There are 4 TVs available to stream shows when you come home after enjoying the tropical beaches or life changing excursions. Ask us for recommendations for excursions to swim with the pigs, nurse sharks, visit iguana island, waterbike tour, and so much more. Although we offer all the comforts of home and a few extra amenities for your stay, keep in mind Exuma is a remote island and we can’t control things such as rough roads, wifi interruptions, outages, the weather, critters, nature, etc.... but we will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay so contact us if any issues arise. The stunning beauty of the island will compensate for any and all concerns!! There’s plenty of parking in front of the house. We recommend renting a SUV or Jeep but taxis are available. The washer and dryer is in back of the Moon House. We are offsite but available by phone. Property Manager can stop by when needed. Pool cleaner comes 2 times/week. This area is known for the bonefish flats, kayaking, and the lush reserves greenery. Since the house is secluded and surrounded by greenery it gets really dark at night, perfect for stargazing. Care should be taken on the roads on the island as they are typically bumpy. Many roads are unpaved outside of George Town. If you are a lover of nature untouched by overdevelopment, city lights and noise, you will love Bahama Sound 11. Enjoy a slower pace, peaceful sunsets, moon views, or strolling to the nearby water. Exuma is famous for bone fishing, swimming with the pigs, stingrays, and the Chat n Chill beach. The closest restaurant and bar is 5 min away. Georgetown for shopping, ATM, fish fry is 10 min away. The closest beach is a 15 minute drive. GGT airport is 25 minutes away. Most guests find renting a vehicle (jeep or suv) useful. We can give car rental suggestions. If you don’t rent a vehicle there are cabs that can get you around. We can set up concierge services for anything from grocery shopping to events for special occasions. Power surges are common in the Caribbean. Generally power will resume within a few minutes. Water company may decrease pressure at night or when working on main lines. Pool toys, floats, deck cushions and hammock colors may change as needed. Don’t let rain keep you inside. It’s typically brief and even if it’s raining on one side of the island it might be bright and sunny on the other side. Many roads outside of George Town are unpaved. Care should be taken on the roads on the island as they are typically bumpy, potholes, but easier with a jeep or SUV.
