The Sato Lodge: Big Bass Lake Escape W/ Hot Tub!

Welcome to The Sato Lodge! Named after our two rescue pups, this newly renovated pet friendly lodge complete with a hot tub, Wi-Fi, an EV Charger, and more is sure to be your home away from home. Located in the premier Big Bass Lake Community, we are just a stones throw away from the lake, and other community amenities including pool, clubhouse, and sports courts. Come relax, unwind, and enjoy all that the Poconos have to offer! The space INDOORS Enjoy a cozy living room, dining room, and sunroom with beautiful views of the outdoors. Our spacious kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials, a coffee/tea station, and an oversized island for all guests to gather around. After a long day outdoors, sleep peacefully in one of our three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 - Queen bed - Dedicated workspace *Please note the closet within this room is locked for owners use only. Bedroom 2 - Queen bed Bedroom 3 - Single twin bed - Twin / Twin bunk bed *Please note there is no closet within this room. We welcome little ones! One pack and play is available for your use. A mini-split unit offers heating and cooling in the main living areas. In the colder months, baseboard heaters will quickly warm up the bedrooms and in the summer, portable AC units are available for your use. Our house is complete with 1.5 bathrooms. Please note, the half bathroom is quaintly snug. A washer / dryer are also available for your use. OUTDOORS In the front, we have a gravel driveway that can accommodate four vehicles. An EV charger is located on the front corner of the house, at the end of the driveway. A front deck with porch swing will welcome you home! In the backyard, a private 6 person hot tub is the perfect place to unwind! We also have a propane BBQ, and Adirondack chairs that surround a wood burning fire pit. Guest access Big Bass Lake is a private, gated community. All guests are required to complete a renters form. Approximately two weeks before check in, we will reach out to complete this. This information is required to be sent back at least one week before check in. Information returned to us late, or if any changes are made an additional fee may be incurred per Big Bass Lake Community Association. Please note that if we do not receive the requested information, security will not give you access at the gate. Please note, reservations make less than a week prior to check-in will incur an additional $50 fee (per Big Bass Lake Community Association Rules and Regulations) . Your own private entry code to the smart entry lock will be given prior to check in. Other things to note Daily or weekly passes to enjoy community amenities can be purchased at the administration office (year round) or at the clubhouse (seasonal). Passes grant you access to the following: RECREATION CENTER - Indoor Pool (Seasonal) - Dry Sauna - Treetop Lounge - Locker Rooms - Fitness Center - Sledding / Tubing Hills (seasonal) CLUBHOUSE - Outdoor Pool (Seasonal, Heated, with Lifeguard) - Splash Pad - Snack Bar - Activity Room - Full Basketball Court, 4 tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, and volleyball area. *Please note all sport courts are outdoors. Equipment is included in amenity pass purchase. LAKES Relax at one of the communities two lakes (open Memorial Day-Labor Day). BIG BASS LAKE boasts a sandy beach, roped in swimming area with lifeguard, picnic area, playground, and bath house. Grab a fishing pole from the house and head to one of the multiple docks for some catch and release fun! Reservations for kayak rentals can be made at the administration office. This lake is a short walk from the Sato Lodge, at .25 miles away. LARSEN LAKE also offers a sandy beach, roped in swim area with life guard, picnic area, playground, and bathhouse. Please note there are no kayak rentals offered at this location. Please note a fishing license is required per state regulations. This can be obtained at local ACE hardware (8 minuet drive from house). During the wintertime, ice skating is permitted on Big Bass Lake in designated area only when green flag it out. Subject to change, current amenity passes are: - Weekday $8 per person - Weekend $10 per person - Non-Holiday Week $30 per person - Holiday Week $50 per person Please note children aged 7 and younger do not require a pass.
