The Susitna Studio is located at Snob Hollow Inn. We are located in a historic neighborhood in the heart of downtown Anchorage. Within minutes you can walk to all of Anchorage’s downtown attractions, including restaurants, shops, galleries, the Anchorage Museum, bars, and the popular Coastal Trail. The Anchorage Train Depot is less than five minutes away by foot. This stylish third floor studio has sweeping views of Cook Inlet, Mount Susitna (Sleeping Lady), and downtown Anchorage. The space The Susitna Studio at Snob Hollow Inn is one of our most unique spaces with remarkable city, mountain, and inlet views. The studio is located on the third floor. To reach the third floor, you will take stairs up to reach your room. This upper-level studio with floor to ceiling windows offers one queen bed, a detached private bathroom with hair dryer, tea and coffee makers, and a flat screen tv. All guests at Snob Hollow Inn have access to free high speed wifi and our guest lounge with complimentary snacks. Snob Hollow Inn is perfectly suited for guests looking for a few nights in Anchorage at the beginning or end of their Alaska adventure. The location has been home to many travelers who are coming off a train, or who need to catch an early train the next day. Snob Hollow Inn is a three story property with 8 guest rooms. You are likely to see other travelers during your stay! There is a small guest lounge on the first floor for all guests to enjoy with complimentary coffee, tea and snacks. The guest lounge has a kitchenette and space for you to relax. We are happy to store your luggage before checking in or if you want to explore Anchorage before your departure. Guest access The main entrance to Snob Hollow Inn is located on Christensen Drive. The front door of the Inn is unlocked between the hours of 5 AM and 10 PM. We lock the front door promptly at 10 PM. Your private room has a pin code lock. We will share the code with you on the day you arrive. For late arrivals, you will also have the pin code for the front door if it is locked when you arrive. You must climb 1.5 levels of stairs to reach the Susitna Studio. Other things to note The bathroom for the Susitna Studio is adjacent to the room, so you leave the room to access the bathroom.
