Big Blue on the Bay

Imagine yourself stepping into the tranquility of a deep woods cabin without travelling over dusty, rutty roads to arrive. Does simplicity appeal to you? Do you long for room to breathe? Replace the hum of the city with the sound of the waves. You don't even have to cross the road to experience a variety of "gentle" entertainment options. The beach, the store, the playground, the park, the basketball court. You have arrived in a historically rich, friendly, diverse community! Enjoy The space Big Blue sits on approximately 4 acres of lawn. On one side you will find a large flat parking surface backed by a sloping grass covered lawn. There is a grove of evergreens on the face of the steep bank that runs the length of the beach. On the village side there is another large lawn with random flower beds and trees. There are "places to sit" placed sporadically around the property. On the rear of the garage there is an overhang where you might find a swinging hammock or even an occasional band playing. On one side of the Airbnb until you will find an open verandah. On the other side is a shared sunporch that often houses the bbq. You step into a large pine-laden, minimally furnished room. There is a bar that runs the full width of one end. Behind the bar you find a variety of kitchen "things." The inside doorway to the steps that lead to the locker room style washrooms and the reiki room is also found behind the bar. You can lock it from your side. Steps to the right of the doorway lead to the loft-sleeping area. This is not a pampering sort of facility. We will do whatever we can to make your stay relaxing and memorable in a good way!
