Other things to note Depending on what you are interested in, here are some suggestions for things to do in the area: -Butchart Gardens -Hike Mt Work (close to Butcharts) - a good workout with view at top. -more relaxed walk down to Tod Inlet ( also close to Butcharts) - not a tough walk but lovely through the forest and creek down to the quiet ocean inlet. -Walk around Inner Harbour area / downtown Victoria - visit Chinatown in downtown Victoria - is the oldest in canada (very small but picturesque). -Visit the Royal BC Museum in downtown Victoria (excellent big museum) -Drive around Dallas Road from James Bay in Victoria towards town of Oak Bay. Oak bay is a quiet, beautiful older area of Victoria with old beautiful homes and little shops etc -Whale Watching from Inner Harbour, or the town of Sidney too - rent kayaks - Tod Inlet leaving from Brentwood Bay (couple rental places right there at the marina). Usually see tons of jellyfish. Also rentals available around canoe cove and Sidney area -Check out local wineries on Saanich Peninsula. Closest is Deep Cove Winery just 3 min drive away (confirm hours before going) - walk Island View beach. Lovely soft sandy beach with huge logs. It’s a different feel from many other beaches in the area. -Check out local breweries (Sidney has a couple on Third St.) - sunset picnic at one of the beaches close to the suite There is a nice hiking park next to my place as well, and I’m only 5 min drive to some beaches as well as the town of Sidney. Sidney in on the waterfront and has many restaurants, patios, brewery, and gin distillery plus has lovely shops to poke around in. Just some suggestion! Please let me know if you have any questions.
