The Stable - Upper Kingston Farm Cottages

The Stable is one of five converted farm buildings set on a small working farm. It's unusual "upside down" design allows the living space to enjoy views over the fields. A comfortable open plan living space makes the Stable the perfect base for families or friends travelling to visit the stunning New Forest. The space On entering the Stable you will be in the large hall with plenty of places for shoes, boots, wellies and coats. The L shaped hall leads to a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Also on the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with an additional shower room. Leading up from the hall a wooden stair case leads you to the open plan living space on the first floor with views across the farm fields. A sociable space with exposed oak beams, the property has been sympathetically renovated and offers a home from home experience. A log burner is available for the colder months. Your first basket of wood is included in your price, extra baskets are available at an additional charge. The Stable is a popular cottage with our guests, starting its life as a stable and hay storage barn for the shire horses who used to pull the milk churns for the daily milk round. Guest access The Stable is the perfect place for friends or families to relax and unwind in a peaceful location. In spring and summer months BBQ's are available to use in the grassed paddock area.
