Welcome to our bright & spacious family home in wonderful Walthamstow. With Europe's longest outdoor market, restaurants and parks at your doorstep, and access to central London only 15min away via the Victoria line. Newly built, our home is only available when we are away, we are looking for responsible guests that will take good care of our home while we are away. We welcome up to 4 guests, family with children are welcome (but 4 maximum). The space The flat in in a wonderful new development, Q17 lofts and is set across 3 floors. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, one has a king size bed, one has a bed that can be twin size or extended to king (please specify your preference when booking). There are 2 full bathrooms, one of them is an ensuite. There is one more room that is our office, we will store our personal belongings there so that room will not be accessible. The living space on the second floor is open concept. It starts with a spacious living room with a cozy sectional, featuring a huge picture window with views from Stratford to the Shard. It's also equipped with a 55 inch smart TV to enjoy in the evenings. A fully equipped kitchen (probably more gadgets than you need), and a large dining room that sits 6. There is a desk/workspace for some laptop time on this floor as well. The top level is the rooftop terrace, with 360 degrees sweeping views of the entire area. Very epic on fireworks/celebratory days when you can see dozens of fireworks going off at once. There is a pergola to provide shade on sunny days, and lounge chairs to relax in while watching the sun set. Our flat has triple glazed windows so you will not hear any noise from the outside traffic, while having the benefit of being less than 5min walk to Walthamstow tube & bus stations. There is also access to a building gym and sauna on the main level. Guest access You have access to the entire flat. We will store our personal belongings in the office (3rd bedroom) so there is more space for you to use in the other rooms. The office will be closed and not accessible. Other things to note A little bit about the area: Despite being in Zone 3, the Victoria line will take you directly to central London in 15min (King's Cross, Oxford Circuis, Green Park etc). We live right by the station (less than 5min walk). Walthamstow is an amazing neighborhood in its own right. Explore Europe's longest outdoor market right at your doorstep - our favorite stops are the produce stands, selling whatever is in season for £1 per bucket. On Sat there's a rotisserie stand selling chicken & ribs, and on Sun there's a farmer's market selling organic & local products. 10min walk away is the Walthamstow Village, a trendy street full of independent eateries, homeware shops, pubs and cocktail bars. Don't miss "God's Own Junkyard" in the industry complex nearby as well, featuring the most photogenic neon signs you can imagine. If you want to take a stroll in a park, Llyod Park is 15min walk away, one of the first parks created in the Victorian era, attached to the William Morris gallery/museum (free admission). One tube stop away is Blackhorse Road, another hipster area featurig maker spaces, climbing walls, and several of craft breweries.
