Bishy Road (as it’s known) has previously been named Britain's best high street and offers a vibrant parade of independent shops, cafes/coffee shops, bars and restaurants, while the city centre attractions and amenities are only a 15 minute walk away. You are also within easy walking distance of the train station (15 mins), the Knavesmire and racecourse (15-20 mins) and the picturesque Rowntree Park (5 mins) which sits alongside the river and is worth a visit on a nice day.
