Relax at this quiet, peaceful cabin across the street from Lake Superior with beach access a short walk away & a public beach with boat launch 2 miles away. Hear the sound of waves while sitting on the porch sipping your morning coffee. Enjoy a cozy, relaxing vacation. Includes a gas fireplace, bikes, a canoe, fire pit, propane & charcoal grills. A new 10x20 cedar deck was added in July 2024. Secluded yet only 28 miles from all that Houghton has to offer. AT&T cell service only. The space Located across the street from Lake Superior (Misery Bay) this cabin is nestled amongst hardwood and pines with an abundance of wildlife (deer and turkey sightings are common). It is in Bohemia Township and Ontonagon County. Ontonagon is 23 miles away and Houghton is 28 miles where there are lots of activities and natural sites to see. Guest access You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. The cabin sits up on a small hill with access via stairs or you can drive around the back side right up to the cabin. There is a door in the back of the cabin, but the front door has the keypad for entry. Other things to note If you have a small motorohome or travel trailer you would like to bring for more space, there is an electric hookup on the property for an additional $30/night. There is not an RV water or sewer hookup.
