The space Located in the historic district, this family-friendly large home is next to the hospital, walking distance to Salina's downtown, and 0.6 miles from the Stiefel Theatre. Everything you need for a great stay is here! There is a 120" video theatre to stream great movies or sports events in the lower level. Next to the theatre is a bouncy house for the kids and a game table with lots of games provided. The laundry room includes a full-sized washer and dryer with detergent provided. The main level has a very large family room with an open area for playing and a large sitting area for socializing. Enjoy a 58" Smart TV with YouTube TV provided as well as an antenna that accesses the Wichita and Topeka local channels and many others. There is also a big dining area with an office or study room tucked behind it, so you can work and not miss out on the fun. The kitchen is equipped with necessities for both adults and children. Appliances such as an Instant Pot, blender, toaster, Crock Pot, and a stove/oven with convection and induction burners for faster cooking will make hosting a breeze. Of course there is also a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and large pantry too. There is another dining table within the kitchen for more casual meals. Child-specific kitchen items include a high chair and plenty of kid-friendly tableware. The main level includes a half bath as well. Off the kitchen is the screened-in patio, wonderful for cooler evenings and a getaway from the bugs. There is comfy patio seating, a TV, and a nice table for eating outside as well. In the middle of the seating is a propane-powered fire pit for s'mores, which allows for instant flames and no smokey smell. When you finish, simply turn off and have no fears of starting a fire. The yard is fenced in for your furry friends' enjoyment with space for fetch and other outside activities. Upstairs you will find 3 large bedrooms, two with king-sized beds. The master has lots of extra floor space to pull in the provided toddler bed, pack n' play, or maybe a few sleeping bags. The middle room has a full over queen-sized bunk bed set. They are set up so that the queen is detached from the top bunk and not completely under the upper bed, so this is a nice room for any age. All bedding is new and comfortable. Lots of pillows and bedding provided no matter the temperature. All 3 bedrooms have large walk-in closets. The bath on the upper level has a shower tub combo. Two baby gates are provided for any area you may want to use them. Pool towels are also provided, and it goes without saying that there is internet, heating and air conditioning (2 units, one for the upper level and one for the main and basement level) that make a difference if you like to sleep cold. Other things to note There is a second full bath in the basement; however, it is unfinished and we don't advertise that it is there. Regardless, it is totally usable and in the basement laundry room.
