Guest access Whole house Other things to note Our community lakes are such a beautiful asset to this rental. The 5 acre lake that is just across the road from our cabin has a small white sandy beach with Adirondack chairs lined up for comfy sunbathers. It is a great swimming lake, a PADDLE BOARDing lake - of which we have 2 for you to use, a kayaking lake but you will have to bring your own. No motorized vehicles allowed. We also have 2 fun river tubes to float on the lake. To fish, you have to be out away from the beach and dock - and the paddle board or a kayak would work well. We also have some buckets and shovels if you want to play in the sand. Beach towel are provided. The second lake in Melrose Mountain community is below the lake described above. It is primarily used for fishing and does not have a beach. Melrose Mountain Climbing Area is just outside the gate to the community. Bring your climbing equipment and enjoy! Again, 2 PADDLE BOARD AND 2 RIVER TUBES ARE FOR YOUR USE. They are light enough to carry down to the beach. We just ask that you bring them and the paddles back and return to the lower level after you are finished for the day.
