A fantastic jumping-off point for your favorite outdoor sports with hiking and biking trails within 10 minutes of the property and 30 miles from Acadia National Park. The space is a geodesic dome overlooking Branch Lake, Mount Desert Island, and Schoodic Point. The space retains a "Maine camp" feel but with other modern aesthetics and amenities to reflect the dome structure. We happily have provided a charcoal grill and a smokeless campfire pit but request our guests to bring their own charcoal, lighter fluid and hardwood for burning as it will not be provided. Parking is on location. Please note: Guests are required to make a small hike to the dome (see pictures), this could be difficult for those with any movement impairments. There is no wheelchair access. We love showing guests the space but also respect that your vacation is for you. We’re available to answer questions and give suggestions of places to go, things to do, and where to find certain amenities. We do have neighbors with pets (dogs) and sometimes they wander and get curious, but are harmless. Please drive slow!
