Description

Escape to our charming hut, perfect for a cozy retreat for up to four guests. The hut features a comfortable double bed with a single bunk above and an additional camping bed. (please be aware that for 4 adults it would be a tight squeeze and more suitable for 3 adults) Enjoy the wood burner, and prepare meals with the mini kitchenette, equipped with all the essentials. Outside, you'll find a fire pit for evenings under the stars. We provide all necessary linens, ensuring a comfortable stay. The space Experience rustic comfort and tranquility in our shepherd huts at our back-to-basics paddock. Each hut is designed to sleep a group of four, featuring a snug double bed with a single bunk above and a child's camping z bed for added flexibility. Inside, guests will find a mini kitchenette complete with a gas camping stove for convenient cooking, crockery, cutlery, kettle and a cool box. (Please do not cook food inside the huts) as well as a toasty log burner and comfortable seating bench for relaxation. Although you won’t find any electricity on site our huts have lights inside and a phone charger available for those emergency calls. Step outside to your own outdoor haven, complete with a fire pit seating area and BBQ just for you. perfect for enjoying evenings under the stars. Nestled amidst nature, each shepherd hut is thoughtfully positioned with trees on either side for seclusion and a sense of peace. Before arrival your will receive a welcoming messages with your code to your home for the night. this will include a reminder to order your wood bundle for your stay this includes logs, kindling, matches and coal for the BBQ. Your gas stove should have a canister in it with a spare in the cupboard, pre ordering will ensure a hassle-free and memorable stay. Embrace simplicity and serenity at our paddock, where every detail is curated for a truly unforgettable outdoor experience. The paddock is a wonderful place for relaxation and enjoyment in nature. It features a viewing/stargazing platform where you can take in the beauty of the sky. Kids can explore a mini trail designed just for them, and there are hammock swings for everyone to relax in. In the center of the paddock, there's a large communal fire pit where you can gather around for warmth and socializing. We are a dog friendly site please add your dog to your booking, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on our paddock & car park. please bring appropriate bedding & blankets for you dogs. For convenience, there are three flushing toilets on site, as well as two showers with hot water next to the stable block. In the stables, you'll find a kitchenette with a dining table and chairs, perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together. USB charging ports. Additionally, there's a cozy seating area in the stables where you can relax and unwind, whether it's to beat the heat or to stay cozy during rain showers. It's a perfect retreat for those looking for a peaceful escape into nature. Please be aware all our facilities are shared and available to everyone staying on our paddock. We have a small car park available to all of our guests please only bring one car unless orgasnised before your visit with us. Guest access The whole paddock is available to all guests. Other things to note House Rules DOGS We kindly request that all dogs be kept on leads at all times. This is for the well-being of your dog, other guests, and the local wildlife. And will helps us maintain a peaceful atmosphere, allowing everyone to fully relax and appreciate the serenity of our surroundings. Additionally, this also prevents any disturbance to our ecosystem, preventing and wildlife habitats. A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog. The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa. (Our insurance doesn't cover any of these breeds) Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped. NO BINS As stewards of the environment, we are proud to be a no-waste site, committed to minimizing our ecological footprint and preserving the natural beauty that surrounds us. QUIET ZONE We take great pride in offering a tranquil and peaceful environment as a quiet campsite. We understand the importance of rest and rejuvenation, which is why we have a quiet zone between 10pm and 9am. During this time, we kindly request our guests to keep noise levels to a minimum, allowing everyone to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep and wake up refreshed to the soothing sounds of nature. Whether you're unwinding in your cozy accommodation or stargazing under the vast night sky, our commitment to maintaining a serene atmosphere ensures a tranquil experience for all. NO VISITORS To maintain the peaceful and exclusive atmosphere of our campsite, we have made the decision not to allow visitors. This policy ensures that our campers can fully enjoy their stay without disruptions or overcrowding. Our insurance limits us access to REGISTERED guests only, we can provide a more intimate and secure environment for everyone. We believe in preserving the tranquility and privacy of our campsite, allowing our guests to unwind and connect with nature undisturbed. TRESSPASSING It is essential to respect the boundaries of private property and refrain from trespassing down the farm tracks or towards the private houses. By adhering to this principle, you demonstrate consideration for the rights and privacy of others. Trespassing can disrupt the peace and security of residents, leading to discomfort and potential conflicts. Moreover, farm tracks serve as crucial access routes for farmers, and unauthorised entry can impede their activities or cause damage to crops and livestock. Respecting these boundaries helps maintain harmonious relationships within the community and preserves the integrity of private property rights. It is always best to seek proper permission or use public access routes when exploring unfamiliar areas to ensure the well-being and privacy of those who reside there. HEALTH & SAFTEY For the sake of health, safety, and environmental preservation, fireworks and den building are strictly prohibited. These activities pose risks such as accidents, injuries and fire hazards. Additionally, fireworks can disturb wildlife, while den building may harm natural habitats. Let us prioritize the well-being of all and seek alternative, responsible ways to enjoy our surroundings while safeguarding the environment. CLEANLINESS We are committed to maintaining a clean and pristine site, and we kindly request your cooperation in upholding these standards. We make every effort to ensure the cleanliness of the area, and we ask that you do the same. Please assist us by properly disposing of your waste, and taking it home with you. and leaving everything as you found it. By working together, we can preserve the natural beauty of the site and create an enjoyable and sustainable environment for everyone to appreciate. (THERE ARE NO BINS ON SITE) FACILITIES We proudly advertise as a back-to-basics site, with the aim to experience a natural fun and quirky facilities. Please make sure when using our showers and toilets you follow the correct procedures, (Engaged and vacant showing correctly, curtains down when in use, up when not) this helps yours and other campers' privacy. If staying with small children please check they have done so too. FIRES & BBQS For safety reasons, fires are strictly limited to contained BBQs or dishes and the communal fire pit, Please do not start fires anywhere else on the premises. This policy ensures the well-being of everyone on-site and minimizes the risk of fires. Please use designated areas and follow proper safety protocols when using the communal fire pit or your personal barbecue. By adhering to these guidelines, we can maintain a secure environment and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of controlled fires responsibly. (fire may be banned during very dry periods) VEHICLES To ensure the safety of all individuals on our premises, we have implemented a maximum speed limit of 5mph for both our driveway and car park. We kindly request that all campers exercise caution, use common sense, and adhere to this speed limit when entering and leaving the car park, regardless of whether they are in cars or on bicycles. This measure helps to prevent accidents, ensures pedestrian safety, and maintains a harmonious environment for everyone. Let us prioritize the well-being of all individuals by being mindful of our speed and driving responsibly throughout the premises. NO VEHICLES ON THE PADDOCK For safety and ground protection reasons, we have established a policy of not allowing cars on the paddock. The paddock area is specifically designated for recreational activities and enjoyment. Allowing cars on the paddock can pose significant safety risks, such as potential collisions with pedestrians or other vehicles, especially in areas where people may be engaged in activities. Moreover, vehicles can cause damage to the ground, particularly in wet or soft conditions, leading to soil erosion and degradation. By maintaining this restriction, we prioritize the safety of our visitors and aim to preserve the quality and integrity of the paddock for everyone's continued enjoyment.We are only a small site with a small car park and only one car is allowed per pitch. TERMS & CONDITIONS As the Site Manager, we have a responsibility to ensure the well-being and adherence to our terms and conditions for all customers. We reserve the right to exclude any customers who violate these terms and conditions. This measure is in place to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone. We kindly ask all visitors to familiarise themselves with our terms and conditions and to conduct themselves accordingly. By doing so, we can create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all customers to enjoy their experience on the site. VIEW POINT RULES • One family at a time to be on the view point. (please share with your fellow campers) • No children under 18 to be on the view point without adult supervision. • Do not lean on or over the banisters. • Take extra care on the view point if it is wet from the rain/ weather. • Do not use the view point in bad weather (High winds or storms etc.) • Fleets Paddock Glamping & Camping cannot take responsibility of any accidents on the view point if the rules have not been followed.
