Keep it simple at this peaceful, Organic Farm. Wake up to deer feeding and birds singing outside your window in a quaint, small town. Take a stroll to the river, walk to the café and visit iconic Maine beaches. Hike & swim nearby, get a tour of our farm or pick your own veggies to snack on. Kids are welcome to play on the ninja swing set with our daughter :) Organic coffee, tea & a glass jug for drinking water included. *Note there is NO kitchen* The space Disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature in our historic home on the Narraguagus River. Guests can enjoy a rocky stream that hugs the property, just outside the living room window. Sip your coffee or tea from the screened in porch or on the bench back by the river. **NOTE: There IS a toaster oven for heating leftovers and mini-fridge- But note, NO kitchen, no microwave, NO wifi* *Also note we have chickens and roosters who crow early morning and you may hear them in the suite. If you are a light sleeper, consider ear plugs or using the fans provided for white noise.* Walk to the Paisley Loon Cafe, fish or kayak locally, hang out on the farm or hike locally or in Acadia! Cherryfield is considered the Blueberry Capital of the world, so there is a lot of blueberry farms to visit and berries to pick during blueberry season (late July-August). Enter through your private front porch and head upstairs to your suite. We offer cotton sheets and organic products, ensuring a chemical and fragrance-free environment for those with sensitivities. The rooms are spacious, and the sitting area is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Enjoy organic tea and bond over board games. We are a homestead and small-scale farm with a 7 year-old and infant twins, chickens, roosters, ducks and barn cats. Feel free to explore our land by walking to the fields and river. Guests can also participate in farming activities if interested. You can schedule private indoor or outdoor yoga sessions customized to your needs with our host & yoga teacher, Gina. If you have your own kayak or canoe, you can access the river, but please be mindful of the tides. Our farm is a working and family environment, so you may encounter the hum of small tractors, the buzz of power tools, and other occasional kids noises during your stay. Guest access Your suite and porch are entirely private and you have access to explore the land. A 5th person may sleep on the couch (It's not a pullout, but it's long enough and will provide extra bedding). FOR KIDS UNDER 3: Please note the suite is on the 2nd floor. There is an open staircase. Please monitor all littles. Other things to note ***For Spring and Fall*** We have space heaters that work very well as the only heat source for the suite. We ask for safety purposes that they are turned off when you’re out for the day. Luckily they heat the rooms up very quickly, especially with the doors closed. We appreciate you honoring our request with this.🙏🏻 **Thank you for understanding that there is no kitchen and we prohibit the use of your own cooking appliances as the suite is not set up for that (no counters and no kitchen sink). We also do not have an outdoor cooking area- something we plan to do in the future. Guests have enjoyed supporting the local restaurants and cafes and packing easy breakfasts and lunches such as sandwiches, instant oatmeal and cereals, etc. **We have a 7 year old daughter who loves to play with guests kids outside. We also have twin boy infants. There is a possibility of baby noises being heard while in the living room of the suite. **Water Pressure for our shower may have periods where it is very low and we are working on figuring that out- but it still works. We thank you for understanding! One barn cat also calls our property home. While we don't offer WiFi, nearby amenities such as the Paisley Loon Café and the Cherryfield Library provide WiFi access and computer facilities for your convenience. Organic coffee, tea, honey and sugar offered. Our in-suite guest guide offers local eateries, hikes and other activities.
