Cozy family cabin with a fantastic location

The cabin is perfect for active families. The location is incredibly nice overlooking a fantastic high mountain landscape. The cabin is located at just over 900m above sea level. The area offers fantastic mountain hikes in summer and winter, cross-country ski trails right by the cabin wall and a ski resort suitable for all ages. In summer, there are great bike trails, both downhill and for quieter trips. The area has several nice swimming and fishing waters, and rivers! See the ski track stage for cross-country maps and status. The alpine resort Høgevarde Fjellpark is 2.7 km from the cabin. The alpine slopes offer a lot of fun for both adults and children. The café "Lavvoen" is located at the bottom of the Mountain Park and offers service both inside and outside. There are great opportunities for top tours directly from the cabin to, for example, Høgevarde (1459 m.a.s.l.) or Ranten (1419 m.a.s.l.). In summer, just lace up your mountain boots and explore the magnificent mountain wilderness right outside the door. The area offers many fine fishing waters and streams and a varied mountain terrain for all levels, whether you want to climb small or large peaks. There is also a rich selection of both adapted and natural bike trails. Fyrisjøen is the largest lake in the area and offers free rental of rowing boats, canoes and life jackets.
