Located less than a mile from the Bill Wagner Campground for easy beach access with easy parking. Conveniently located near hiking trails including Martin's Point. Approximately 8 miles from Ferry/ downtown . Expect to see plenty of wildlife in the backyard. New to the island please read info in detail area. The space Two complete bathrooms, nicely furnished kitchen and nine acres to explore Beautiful screened in porch to enjoy the wildlife and sunsets/sunrises. wood is provided for fire pit and woodstove. Please use wood that intended for woodstove and use firewood that is intended for fire pit. No bicycles available anymore sorry. Guest access Complete house with exception of the garage. Electronic keypad for check in. Other things to note Two metal dog dishes for guests that bring dogs. Towels for dogs hanging in laundry room. Please clean up after pets in yard so future guests can enjoy yard. Two umbrellas available for use for those rainy days. Side Note for newbies: There are two ways on and off the island. Ferry-Beaver Island Boat Company( BIBCO on line lookup) runs from April til mid December. Bringing a vehicle on ferry you must schedule both ways. Other option is airlines there are two that service Beaver Island from Charleviox- Island Airways and Fresh Air. There are different modes of transportation here. There is a taxi service and a car rental company-Burton car rental. Charleviox- Transit Authority( which is very inexpensive and does offer after peak hours but little more than normal rate their website explains more in detail.
