Description

Our Modern Walkout Basement Suite offers two bedrooms, full-size windows, and a private entrance, overlooking the backyard lawn. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Calgary's northwest quadrant, near the city's north edge. The entire group will have convenient access to common amenities from this centrally situated location: approximately 15-minute drive from Airport via a freeway. The space The secondary suite is a 9-foot high-ceiling walk-out basement within a detached house. It features its own dedicated heating system and offers free high-speed enterprise-grade internet access. Bedrooms Two bedrooms, each equipped with a comfortable and luxurious queen-size Beautyrest mattress and extra beddings and pillows in the storage. Living Room The living room comes with a cozy sofa and a 65" 4K TV equipped with cable TV, offering wide range of assorted channels- local and international news channels, comedies, etc, as well as choice streaming options. Occupancy Load Limit – 4 Adults Please note that the maximum number of guests legally allowed to occupy the suite is strictly limited to four (4) adults. This is a mandatory requirement under our operational license, as set by the Fire Department, and is in place for safety and emergency evacuation purposes. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from this limit and are not counted toward the adult occupancy total. The suite is best suited for a small family or group, in line with these safety regulations. Laundry Full-size washer and dryer with all laundry supplies. Kitchen The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, pots, pans, and other utensils perfect for cooking a delicious meal. Bathrooms Spacious bathroom, a bathtub with a standing shower, well lit and furnished with all bathroom essentials. Backyard You can also enjoy the outdoor space with clean and well-maintained lawn. This is a shared space (with the property owner). Nearby Amenities We are located close to grocery stores, choice restaurants, hospital, banks, airport, Calgary Olympic park and lots more. Public transport options: 3 to 5min walk to the bus-stop, with high frequency (15min during peak hours) and a choice of 3-routes (Bus# 115, 82 & 129), each with a connection to train stations, with a trip length averaging about 25minutes. Attending Stampede? The train station features free ‘Park-N-Ride’ after 10am, some section are free all day long. If you are around during stampede and would like to attend, going by train is a great option. Two close-by train stations (Tuscany & Dalhousie) are just about 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Park your car and jump on the train - this option offers riders a-must-see view experience of the city. Our Calgary: This is a great city and one of the most beautiful place to visit, with four distinct seasons (spring, summer, fall & winter), each offering unique experience. We recommend you keep open mind, take a chance, do not only visit during summer, try visiting during winter, fall or spring - we’re confident you will be blown away by what nature offers here during each of these four unique seasons. Don’t worry - flights delays due to weather are not common - Calgarians proudly embraced nature, so much they manage to keep the airport running most of the time in spite of weather challenges! Guest access The suite offers a seamless self check-in experience with unique code. Access to the suite is via a private concrete walkway on the right-side of the main house that leads to the entrance door at the rear. Guests have full access to the patio area and backyard lawn (shared with main house) for relaxation and enjoyment during their stay. Additionally, there is a foldable table and chairs in the suite’s storage that guests are welcome to use in these areas. There is plenty of street parking available. Accessibility Notes: Please note that our property features stairs entrance, as well as a bathtub rather than a walk-in shower, which may not be suitable for individuals with mobility challenges.
