Description
Apartment ideal for resting, working, or slowing down. Located 50 meters from public transport, 3 blocks from Mercado Agrícola, and 2 blocks from the 1º de Mayo carnival stage to enjoy murgas during Carnival. It is gay-friendly and marijuana-friendly, based on respect and diversity. Montevideo is a welcoming, easy-to-walk city. The apartment is managed by a collective of artists on tour, but there will always be a friend to give you the keys. No luxury here, but it’s your home! The space This space doesn’t promise unnecessary luxury, but something far more important: comfort, rest, and a true feeling of home. Ideal for sleeping well, cooking something nice, getting some work done, or simply doing nothing (which is also a plan). We have one bedroom with a super comfortable queen-size bed, a home office with a trundle bed for two people, and an additional double sofa bed. Located in Aguada, just 50 meters from public transportation, making it easy to move around Montevideo. Three blocks from Mercado Agrícola, perfect for cafés, casual lunches, and unhurried walks. And if you visit during Carnival, you’ll be two blocks from the 1º de Mayo stage, where murgas fill the neighborhood with music and popular celebration. The apartment is gay-friendly and marijuana-friendly, designed for people who value respect, diversity, and peaceful coexistence. The kitchen is equipped for anything from an early coffee to a relaxed dinner. The living room invites you to read, chat, work, or stare at the ceiling thinking about life. The bed is comfortable, and the shower does exactly what it should. Montevideo is a friendly, walkable, easy-to-navigate city, and this location makes getting around simple. One more thing worth mentioning: the apartment is managed by a collective of art workers currently touring Latin America. We may be far away, but there will always be a trusted friend to give you the keys and welcome you. It’s not a hotel. It’s better: a temporary home with good energy. Some guests leave thinking, “I’d stay a little longer.”
