Please note the barn can also be booked for up to four adults with two double-bedrooms. Get in touch! The space The Barn is a large open plan contemporary space in a restored farmyard setting. Set in 10-acres of private grounds which include a lake, streams, woodland, meadows, more formal gardens and a tennis court. The Barn, a former milking parlour, is the culmination of a two-year conversion and renovation project. It is now a space with a modern feel internally featuring underfloor heating throughout provided by an eco-friendly air-source heat pump. There is a private patio area for your exclusive use. The Barn overlooks the woods and lake, a truly beautiful location for watching wildlife. The local pub in Langwathby is a five-minute drive away serving local produce and ales. There are some fantastic eateries within a twenty-minute drive of Linden including, Michelin starred gastro-pubs for something special, book well in advance though. We would ask you not to walk through the sandstone archway toward the top of the cobbled yard this is a private access for The Cottage. For your own safety we advise you not to enter any of the unconverted barns at Linden. Other things to note The Barn is accessed via a farm track from the main road. It is less than a kilometre of track and gives a lovely view of Cross Fell as you drive towards the farm at the end of the track. Please note we are not the white house on the right hand side halfway along the track, keep going to the end of the track and follow the signs for Linden Farm House. There is one other Airbnb accommodation at Linden Farm House. The Cottage accommodates just two-guests and occasionally dogs so there is a chance you may meet a well behaved pet on a lead in the grounds. We may have other guests staying in The Cottage at Linden Farm House, whilst you are here. We ask all of our guests to respect the privacy of others and keep noise levels to a minimum.
