Our Woodman's Bothy and Showman's Wagon are ideal for families and small groups who want to enjoy a unique getaway in Perthshire. The Bothy has a full size double bed and the Wagon has 2 full size bunk beds. Both are also equipped with a log burner and power supply. Shared use of the toilet, shower and kitchen facilities in the adjacent farm building. Enjoy scenic countryside views across Perthshire and nights around the fire pit. Dog friendly (£5 per dog). The space The Bothy and Wagon are both unique spaces and are in the perfect spot to enjoy exceptional views to the north and frequent sunsets in the west. They overlook the local village of Dunning and we usually have sheep or ponies in the adjacent field. Toilet, shower and kitchen facilities in adjacent farm building are shared with farm staff and other guests - mostly used by Bothy and Wagon guests however so greater privacy when both units are booked together. Guest access Guests are welcome to see other areas of the farm by contacting Ewan & Fiona. Other things to note Keeping safe: We ask all of our guests to note the importance of washing their hands thoroughly with soap and water after touching animals, fences or barriers to prevent infection. Farm stuff: Guests are asked to respect that Pitmeadow is a working farm and ensure that children are supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Access to fields with livestock is not permitted without farm staff. Water: Our water comes from a Private Spring Water Supply which is treated with filters and an ultra violet light system. If you have any questions or concerns about this before booking please get in touch with us. Dogs: Maximum 2 dogs (£5.00/dog/stay). Dogs must be kept on a lead as we also have free range chickens and ducks. 2 x electric car charge points are available for guests to use and pay for at the end of their stay. Pond: There is a large/deep open pond in the garden. Children must therefore be supervised at all times. Farm Events: We regularly host farm events such as woodland walks with a pony, lamb feeding in late spring and cream teas in the garden. Guests can book these events at a discounted price.
