Located within a secure 2,000 sqm gated property, this is your ultimate tropical escape. YOUR PRIVATE SPACE (THE LAMADANG SUITE): Located on the 2nd floor, this fully air-conditioned master suite is designed for luxury and productivity. Sleep: Features a super comfy King-size bed (with a double bed and single sofabed available for larger groups). Work & View: An attached private study features a double desk and TV, boasting incredible views of the Bulusan Volcano. The Balcony: Step out onto your private West-facing balcony—the perfect vantage point to view Bulusan Volcano while doing yoga. En Suite Bath: Enjoy a relaxing soak in your private indoor bathtub, or embrace the tropics with our adventurous open-air shower extension. SHARED VILLA AMENITIES: While the Lamadang Suite is entirely private, you will have access to beautiful communal spaces (shared with up to 10 other guests from our Malasugi and Turingan rooms): The Grand Living Area: A central 2nd-floor space with high ceilings, featuring the shared dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Batalay Loft: A cozy shared loft with wide lounging sofas, a large LED TV for Netflix bingeing, and an extra study desk. The Oasis: A beautiful natural dipping pool awaits you at the bottom of the main staircase. PROPERTY NOTE: Baia Nest is growing! While this is our first finished guest structure, future expansions (like a swimming pool and music studio) are currently underway. The areas under development are completely enclosed to ensure your privacy and peace. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Is the bathroom shared? A: No! The Lamadang Suite has its own private en suite bathroom with a bathtub and a unique open-air shower. Q: Will we be sharing the house with others? A: Yes, Baia Nest is a large, shared Balinese-inspired villa. You have your private suite, but the kitchen, living area, Batalay Loft, and natural plunge pool are shared with guests from our other two rooms. Q: How is the internet for remote work? A: Excellent. We provide Starlink WiFi, and the suite features a private attached study with a double desk, making it perfect for digital nomads. Q: How far is the property from the airport? A: We are a scenic 90-minute drive from the Bicol International Airport in Daraga. Guest access ACCESS & EXCLUSIVE AMENITIES Welcome to your Balinese-inspired getaway! You are welcome to enjoy the shared grand living room, the fully equipped kitchen, and the natural plunge pool at the bottom of the stairs. Privacy Note: Please respect the privacy of other guests by avoiding the Main House Lanai, Turingan Loft, Malasugi Room, and the Shell Bathroom (past the staircase to the 3rd floor). GOURMET KITCHEN & FREE BREAKFAST: Cook up a feast in our shared kitchen (fully equipped with everything except a microwave). Other things to note THINGS TO CONSIDER: • You may encounter farm wildlife such as field mice, insects, and reptiles. • Occasional power outages within the province can occur. • SOME LEAKS may happen from the native roof after heavy rain. • PARKING is available streetside outside the property. • Some areas on the property may be under CONSTRUCTION during the day. • PETS allowed after an approval process, with a P500 pet fee. • Extra charges may be applied for special requests such as early check in or late check out. • A MOTORBIKE and MINIVAN are available for rent. ACTIVITIES Sorsogon has great activities for all types of groups and individuals. Booked guests have access to our guide book for things to see and do around town! PARKING: Our driveway within the property can only accommodate two cars, or one vehicle for each room, as we are still constructing the carport. If these slots are taken, guests will have to park their vehicles by the road outside the property. CONSTRUCTION Baia Nest is a work in progress. We are currently building our pool. We will do our best to keep the noise to a minimum when there are guests around. BROWNOUTS We sometimes have whole day brownouts (6am-6pm), but we have a small generator that can power the refrigerator and wifi. The generator is not strong enough to power the water pump at the same time, so we have to choose if you want water or internet! There is water in the ground floor areas, though the pressure is a little weak. We'll be sure to coordinate when this happens! ANIMALS AND PETS: Guests with pets should coordinate with us before arrival. Pets are allowed after a short approval process along with a pet fee. Pets need proper introduction to our Baia Nest animals. Our dogs are not usually friendly to strange cats. Being next to the rice fields, you may encounter farm wildlife such as field rats, insects, and reptiles. MEALS: While our Nests are self-service, we offer in-house meals. Ask us for our menu of local dishes and meal options. SWIMMING: No lifeguards are present, so swim at your own risk. Be aware of currents and wave conditions before entering the water. DISCOUNTS Our guests often regret not booking longer, so we've added in discounts for stays of 2 nights or more. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to that extra day! DAYTIME GUESTS Single bed or room bookings on the second and third floor are not allowed daytime guests. NOISE Our property is located beside the road. Expect street sounds, and the sound of fish vendors at 6 in the morning. When there is a fiesta anywhere in the vicinity, the sound travels across the rice fields to our house. This happens only a few days in a year. CLEANING AND SHEET CHANGES In our effort to reduce unnecessary resources, cleaning and sheet changes are conducted every 3 days for longer stays. Should you want your sheets to be changed daily, this can be arranged for an extra cleaning fee. VEHICLES FOR RENT.
