Meadow View Cottage a couples paradise

This stunning converted stable is on our 5 acre small holding in Dorset where we are living ‘The Good Life’ . Furnished immaculately with a king size bed (can be 2 singles), fully fitted kitchen and its own garden with amazing views. Simply relax here, a lovely country pub with outdoor pizza oven, a popular coffee shop & beautiful countryside walks are all on your doorstep. Or explore the historic area, the sands of the glorious Jurasic coast or visit the many local attractions and events The space Once part of the Portman Estate the cottage is on our 5 acre working smallholding where we are living ‘The Good Life’ growing our own vegetables and raising a few animals, you may find our chickens wandering around the place and the view from your garden to our meadow is beautiful, look out for our vintage little blue tractor! We will always leave you a welcome pack which will often include produce from our small holding. In the garden, you will find dining table, chairs and a Webber barbecue and the occasional free ranging chicken! You will find everything you need in the fully fitted kitchen including a washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven with air fry technology and bean to cup coffee machine. There is a king size bed which can be split into two singles and a shower room attached. The cottage is warm and cosy in the winter with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating and an electric fire in the living room There is a lovely country pub just a 5 minute walk away. Enjoy home made pizzas from their outdoor oven or take a stroll in the beautiful countryside on our doorstep. The village of Pimperne also has a coffee shop and gym where there are stunning views and beautiful walks. Attractions within 15 minutes drive include Kingston Lacy stately home, Larmer Tree Gardens, Bradbury Rings and The North Dorset trailway. Travel a little further and the options are endless including the glorious Jurassic Coast, the historic towns of Dorchester, Salisbury, and Shaftesbury. The seaside towns of Bournemouth and Weymouth to name but a few. Throughout the Summer there are many country shows or festivals to enjoy We also welcome you to bring up to 2 well behaved dogs with you Guest access You will have your own parking space in our secure private car park. There are a few steps down from here to your cottage and it’s own garden. The cottage itself is on two levels. The kitchen living room are accessed from the front door and there are a few steps up to the bedroom & shower room.
