Guests have access to Sierra del Mar private beach gate 7 minute walk downhill; 15 min drive to tourist districts of Old Town Vallarta. The space Multiple entertaining areas on main level including outdoor bar and grill next to the heated pool. Main dining room indoors has air conditioning. Additional al fresco dining area on covered terrace next to pool bar. Two bedrooms on main level work great for guests who cannot manage many stairs. The hallways to the main level bedrooms have a few steps but there are handrails on the wall. Tesoro del Mar is an excellent choice for multi-generational families, couples groups, milestone trips with friends and family. Guest access Tesoro Del Mar is a private villa with 8 bedrooms located in a gated community. Guests may book less than 8 bedrooms for smaller groups at an adjusted per bedroom rate, please inquire. Regardless of number of bedrooms booked for your group, the entire villa is yours. The unbooked bedrooms are simply unavailable for guest use. Other things to note Sierra del Mar gated community is approx 10 minutes south of Old Town Vallarta on the mountain side of the highway to Mismaloya. One of the prettiest beaches on the Bay of Banderas is a 5 minute walk downhill from the villa. Portable beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. Guests have access to the pool bar at Sierra del Mar condos on the beach and enter the beach through their private gate. For more beach time, El Dorado Beach Club on Los Muertos Beach in Old Town is an excellent alternative. Villa staff will call yellow taxis for pick up at the villa, the common source of public transportation in Puerto Vallarta. There are yellow taxis on every corner of Old Town when ready to return to the villa. Our local concierge can also arrange private drivers with large SUVs, especially for going out in the evening. No rental car needed at this location.
