The space Escape to a charming and cozy cottage with unique 1900s characteristics and modern amenities. Original floors, doorknobs, vintage schoolhouse lights, kitchen cabinets, windows, and shiplap ceilings have been preserved, while the bathrooms have been updated for your comfort. The house is located between Midtown and Denver Court and is in a safe and well-maintained neighborhood that has recently been upgraded with new sidewalks and roads. Bedroom #1 A spacious and inviting master bedroom includes cute finishes and thoughtful details that decorate the space. The room offers an ensuite private bathroom and king size bed with original home shutters that serve as a unique wall backdrop. The dimmable lighting allows you to set the mood and is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Bedroom #2 This shared bedroom is the perfect space for friends and family. The room is equipped with a queen size bed and a twin over full bunkbed with fun beach themes and colors. The cheerful atmosphere is an ideal place to catch some z’s after a day of fun in the sun. Indoor Living The family room is cozy and welcoming with a unique wall design that immediately catches your eye. The space is perfect for enjoying quality time and includes board games for some friendly competition. Directly adjacent, you’ll find the dining room with a touch of history. The French doors are original to the home, recovered and preserved for many years and now brought back to life! The vintage light fixture is a unique touch dating back to the 1920’s. The dining space feels elegant with candles that help set a pleasant ambiance. The kitchen blends the old with the new. The original glass cabinetry, countertop tile design, and exposed chimney adds charm and character to the space preserving the home’s history. Despite these nods to the past, the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and stocked with essentials to help make you feel at home. The laundry room is a convenient and practical space tucked away toward the rear of the property, doubles as a mudroom, and is equipped with laundry essentials. Outdoor Space The backyard patio includes a nice space for gathering and grilling. A large adjustable umbrella provides shade and protection from the sun, allowing you to sit out and enjoy the Galveston breeze. A large deck box with beach amenities is also available for use. At night, the string lights create a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for winding down. Guest access The home is fully fenced for privacy. Guests on the reservation have access to the entire home. Entry to the property is keyless via smart locks. Parking is available on the driveway or on the street. It’s not recommended to park beyond the backyard gate to reserve the patio space.
