Lovely shepherds hut situated adjacent to the owners cottage in the small village of Beechingstoke Wiltshire. A rural retreat, with easy access from London. Set within the Vale of Pewsey, with countryside walks from the village, the hut is close to the Kennet & Avon Canal and the Wiltshire Cycle Pathway. Pubs and cafes within 1 mile of the village serving great food. Many local historic sites including Avebury, Stonehenge and Lacock. A relaxing and cosy retreat at any time of the year. The space Bilbo's Hut is a shepherd's hut which has a kitchen, seating and bedroom area in one with a separate shower room. There is lots of storage and hanging space throughout the hut. Outside there is a table and chairs, for hut use only. Guest access The hut and outside table and chairs is for the sole use of guests. Other things to note Access to Bilbo's Hut is via a walled drive with an overhanging low thatch and hedge. If you have a high sided vehicle, then it may not clear the low overhanging thatch at the bottom of the drive. Please check if unsure. There is room for one car at the top of the drive, but if this is not possible due to height of car, then parking on the road is extremely safe as we are in a small rural village with limited traffic. The bed in Bilbo's Hut is higher than a normal bed, but a small stool is provided should you need it.
