Buttercup is perfectly situated to enjoy both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, whether you wish to explore the 7 Bays with their stunning sandy beaches or go further afield with the A30 being only 5 minutes away. Lying on the fringes of Bodmin Moor, culture vultures can get acquainted with the local history at Pencarrow House and Gardens (2.5 miles) whilst food lovers can head to Padstow (15 miles), synonymous with Rick Stein, to pick up some of the area’s best local produce. From Padstow, hop aboard the ferry crossing the River Camel to the quaint town of Rock, renowned for its gloriously sandy beach.
