This two story house with a view of the river has an indoor/plumbed fish and game cleaning station. Walking distance to Pike's Bar, Bright Spot Diner and the gas/bait station. Parking has space for 1 truck & trailer in front of the neighbors, 1 truck & small trailer (boat) in front of our home, and 1 truck & trailer in the driveway. The indoor fish-cleaning station means you can swap your gloves for a warm cup of coffee while you fillet your day’s success. ⚠️ Other Things to Note About that staircase… let’s just say it’s got personality. You might call it our “Duck, Duck, Goose” staircase — be sure to duck when you go up or down, or you’ll be the goose who forgot. 😅 A quirky reminder that even architects have a sense of humor. 🌳 Outdoor Space The backyard is steep — really steep — unless you brought climbing gear, it’s best enjoyed from a distance. (We do not actually recommend it that you tried to ascend the backyard and we will hold no responsibility for accidents or injury). Kick back on the upper deck, sip your favorite drink, and take in the peaceful DeSoto air. 🍔 Local Hotspots (All Within Walking Distance!) The house is currently on the market for sale. If we get an accepted offer we will still honor your stay, or accommodate you at another local Air BnB at no additional cost to you. 🌲 About the Yard The backyard has more slope than a ski resort. It’s not the place for frisbee, hammocks, or three-legged races—unless you enjoy high-speed grass surfing. After a couple of drinks, it goes from “challenging” to “Darwin Award application,” so please admire the view responsibly. If you insist on tackling it, BYOGH (Bring Your Own Grappling Hook). Just know that if you slide, tumble, or attempt a rescue mission gone wrong… we hold absolutely zero liability. Gravity is in charge back there—not us. There is a 3 car driveway, but it's steep. Hope you have 4x4. There's parking directly in front of the house (not to exceed a 16ft boat & crew cab). The best parking is in front of the neighbors retaining wall, on the easement, which we have permission to utilize. Directly next door and a 50ft cord will keep your batteries running.
