Centrally located between Frederick County -Washington DC. With 3 minute access to RT 355 and 270, 20 minutes from 70 & 495. Fully independent walk out basement in law suite with everything needed for short or long term stays. Quiet, comfortable private. No shared spaces. Coffee,microwave , gorgeous bathroom, very comfortable full size bed. One sofa bed with foam topper, one queen air mattress on frame. Standing desk, office chair. The space Abundant seasonal vegetable gardens. Both driveway and street free parking. Home is a brick rancher built in 1970, almost a full acre of land. The property border has plenty of mature trees , song birds , and wild life. Beyond our back yard is a huge corn field, home to herds of deer, Fox and turkeys. Enjoy sitting on the back patio listening and watching the wildlife. The neighborhood is quiet and mature. Serene and safe. The space is in the walk out basement. We provide a white noise machine and dehumidifier to block the sound of footsteps from upstairs. We have a pet cat who stays upstairs, does not ever go into the Airbnb space. Guest access Guest can enter from front door, then enter in law suite from interior door, downstairs and into the space. The space is independent from home. Guest will have as little or as much interaction with host as they prefer. The space is in the walk out fully finished basement in law suite . We include a white noise machine and dehumidifier to block the sounds of our life upstairs. Sometimes footsteps , or the cat meowing upstairs can be heard. The white noise machine and dehumidifier block upstairs noise. The washer and dryer are available for guests who have stays of 4 consecutive nights or more. During your stay Guests are welcome encouraged to call or text host with any questions, requests or concerns. Guest can expect full privacy without interaction if that is preferred. We strive to make your stay comfortable. ! Please reach out with any allergies to foods or pets. I leave welcome snacks , and do not want to leave out anything guests could be allergic too. Other things to note Guest can choose to enter the space by walking to the back of the house or use the front door and enter from interior door. Guests will be provided keys to lock their space during their stay. The space includes a white noise machine, and dehumidifier to block the sounds of homeowners family , footsteps, and possibly the cat meowing from upstairs. The host works from home and is available to answer questions, or assist almost 24/7. Sofa bed has memory foam topper , air mattress is on a frame queen size. We have been told it is comfortable. The washer dryer is for extended stays over 4 nights or more . The in law suite has a white noise machine and dehumidifier for white noise and to keep the air moisture at a consistent level. We ask guests to keep the dehumidifier running while out of the Airbnb space and if tolerated while sleeping. The white noise does help block out all the natural sounds as well as the homeowners footsteps from upstairs. The song birds can be very loud in the morning! Despite the soundproof insulation in the ceiling the footsteps from upstairs are slightly audible. Frederick is filled with activities for adults and families . Be sure to google “visit Frederick. Please notify host of times prior to making a reservation. We provide coffee, half and half, tea, and flavored seltzer at no charge. Please be considerate of the next guest and use only what you consume during your stay. Leave the balance of amenities for the next guest they are not to take with you. We are on well water and ask you limit your time in the shower. The house has a water filter and the shower head has a water filter. It is not enough to eliminate the metals from our water. So we provide a water cooler and ice maker. Please use it to make your coffee and drinking . WE HAVE A CAT WHO LIVES UPSTAIRS.THE CAT DOES NOT EVER GO INTO THE AIRBNB. EVEN WHEN WE DO NIT HAVE GUESTS THE CAT IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE SPACE.
