Description

Your ideal destination on Av. Ballivián – Calacoto. Bright, cozy, comfortable, and impeccable. Just 1 block from the cable car, El Bosque boulevard, supermarket, FAO, ATM, pharmacies, and United Nations. 24/7 transportation. Flexible check-in/out depending on availability. UV+ozone cleaning. One-bedroom apartment in an exclusive and secure building with Wi-Fi, workspace, smart TV, living room, equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, and heating. Your cozy retreat in the South Zone! The space For the past 4 years, our guests’ reviews have certified us as Airbnb Superhosts. I invite you to enjoy this sunny one-bedroom apartment, fully equipped with all the comforts for relaxing and working (exclusive Wi-Fi). It is located in the best area of Calacoto, in the south of La Paz, where a mild climate and a quiet neighborhood prevail. The space offers unmistakable views of the mountains, a modern and very clean environment, UV+ozone air purification technology, in a new and secure building on Avenida Ballivián with 24/7 transportation access. The location is privileged: just one block from the green cable car station and the new boulevard El Bosque, full of cafés and restaurants; steps away from the FAO and United Nations offices; and very close to the Megacenter shopping mall, which offers stores, a food court, and cinemas. For your convenience, there is free street parking and private parking options one and a half blocks away. The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Its large windows allow you to admire beautiful views of the city and the mountains. Every morning, you can walk two blocks to my favorite cafés (Typica and Epico) to enjoy an avocado or charque and cheese sandwich on freshly baked marraqueta, accompanied by a high-quality local coffee. Later, you could explore the Valle de la Luna or the Valle de las Ánimas in the southern area. Alternatively, you can take the cable car (which offers spectacular views of the city and mountains like the Illimani) and visit the Witches’ Market and the historic center. Later, you can stroll through the south zone and discover art galleries, theaters, bars, and cafés. For lunch or dinner, I recommend Manq’a or Rosmarino, both just two blocks from the apartment. The neighborhood has changed over the years—many houses have become buildings and shopping centers—but it still preserves the spirit that made me fall in love with this place when I bought it: a perfect mix of comfort, safety, and pleasant climate in the south of La Paz.
