The cottage is all on one level, with a four inch step from the lounge area into the kitchen/dining area. Other things to note Witton View Cottage is ideally situated for walking, watching the plethora of wildlife and sight seeing. The area around Edge Knoll Farm is loaded with sights to visit... Hamsterley Forest is a short drive away or you can walk there too if you're a keen walker! Check out the Kynren Spectacular held during the Summer months, Auckland Palace, Durham Cathedral, High Force Waterfall, Cauldron Snout Cascade, or Raby Castle to name just a few. Your stay with us can be as busy or as quiet and peaceful as you want. The access road to the cottage is via an unpaved farm track approximately 0.6 miles long. It’s regularly used by a range of vehicles, so as long as you take it slowly, you’ll be absolutely fine!
